Liberals Apparently Don't Think the Law Applies to Them

Miguel Gonzalez has a story that brought a smile to my face. Scratch a Liberal, find the Racist underneath.

A man-bun wearing "douchebag" is crashing out, apparently on TikTok or Instagram or somewhere, because the cops objected to him driving his truck without a license plate. "I'm going to get diesel filters" is a not a valid excuse in Florida.

He then goes off on the Hispanic officer.

The moment the Hispanic decided that the Liberal cane field or riding the back of a landscaping truck was not where he wanted to be, he became uppity and a “douchebag” to this White Liberal asshole. And mind you, this is in Ft Lauderdale which is part of Blue Broward County, but apparently and according to Bun Man, he is allowed to drive without tags because he is White, Liberal and Anti-Ice, screw what the law says.

The included video is only one minute and 41 seconds. I would love to see the entire encounter, and what lead up to there being 6 cops around. You can call cops names, and that is your first amendment right, but you can also end up on the internet looking like a complete idiot.

It is hard to be a Liberal in Florida, especially in South Florida. Accusations of racism seem to have a tough time sticking to cops down there.

Watch the video, and pay attention to what demographics the cops are to understand that statement.

The level of entitlement, and "the law doesn't apply to me" is over the top. No tags on the truck. As one of the commentors pointed out, there is not a state in the union where you can drive on public roads without a license plate that is valid.

Now usually, that would result - at least for an expired tag (ask me how I know) - in a ticket. You have to go the extra mile for them to tow the vehicle.

I lived in Fort Lauderdale for a short time. Less than a year. I lived in Florida longer than that, and Fort Lauderdale was a great place to spend a Friday evening with friends. Restaurants, bars, parks, theaters, etc. There was always something of interest. It is a nice place to visit, but I hated living there.

This should really include the tag "Florida Man" somewhere, as it is Peak Florida, at least for today.

Feeling Insulted Is Not a Threat of Death or Grave Bodily Injury

Strip mall owner found guilty of murder for shooting, killing man who urinated on building

A strip mall owner was found guilty of fatally shooting a drunk, unarmed man who he caught urinating on his property, despite his claims that the shooting was in self-defense.

I get feeling insulted, and I get wanting to do something about it, but that is not how the law works.

You have to remember that every bullet comes with a lawyer attached.

Florida Man, Intoxication, and Firearms

That sounds like a recipe for disaster. Man with gun threatens customers inside, outside Wabasso convenience store

A Wabasso store employee fired warning shots at a “heavily intoxicated” man with a gun who threatened customers inside and outside the business, law enforcement officials said.

Wabasso, Florida is an unincorporated area in Indian River Country. It is about 50 mile drive south of Cape Canaveral, or about a 90 mile drive north of West Palm Beach. It is on the mainland side of the Intercoastal Waterway.

He started outside the store.

A 62-year-old Wabasso area resident traveled to the store on a bicycle and while in the parking lot of the convenience store he “threatened a lady … (saying) he was going to kill her,” said Lt. Kevin Jaworski.

He then went inside the store and told everyone to leave. Why? He was a heavily intoxicated Florida Man.

“The employee pushed him outside,” he said. “She told him to drop the gun, at which point she fired off two rounds (into the air), basically a warning shot to get him to drop the gun.”

There are more details, but apparently this guy was known to the store employee and the customers, who described his behavior as "erratic."

Self-defense is a human-right, and since this took place in Florida, and not in New England, the store clerk was not charged.

The employee, Jaworski said, acted in self-defense, and was, “well (within) her rights to protect herself.”

Good Guys 1, Florida Man 0.

Multi-million Dollar Yacht Stolen in Jupiter, Florida

This is a crazy story from May, that I didn't see at the time.

A Russian national is accused of stealing a massive luxury yacht and leading authorities in Florida on a boat chase as police feared he planned on fleeing to the Bahamas for a “smuggling venture.”

Nikolai Vilkov, 29, was arrested on May 5 after the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies had to use smaller boats to pin the stolen 68-foot, two-million-dollar yacht against the shoreline in Jupiter Island, Sheriff John Budensiek said in a press conference.

Does this constitute piracy? This was not quite a cutting-out expedition, though that may describe the law-enforcement response.

Martin County, Florida stretches from the east shore of Lake Okeechobee to the Atlantic Coast. It includes Stuart, Jensen Beach, and Indiantown. It also includes the eastern end of the Okeechobee Waterway that connects Fort Myers to Stuart by way of the Caloosahatchee River, Lake Okeechobee, and the St. Lucie Canal.

And let's be clear, because people like to say illegal immigration enforcement is about race. Nikolai Vilkov is Russian. His wife and kids were in the US, but they flew back to Russia in 2024. My guess is that he fled Russia to avoid the draft for the war in Ukraine, but it is only a guess. After the situation with the yacht is sorted out, he will be shipped back to Russia, and then probably to the Ukrainian front.

Florida Man Moved Into Home When Owners Out of Town

A neighbor called police, because he knew that the owners were out of town.

A Florida man, identified only as "Joe," was taken into custody last week after Polk County Sheriff's deputies found him cooking and filling a bathtub in a stranger's home north of Davenport.

If nothing else Polk County Sheriff's Office has a sense of humor, or maybe it is of the absurd.

The Sheriff's Office lightheartedly likened the incident to a "Polk County version of 'Goldilocks and the 3 Bears,'" noting Joe's apparent attempt to find a comfortable — albeit unauthorized — respite.

Joe had an argument with his wife, and didn't want to go home. No word on charges.

A man was shot and killed by a Jacksonville sheriff's officer Sunday at a mobile home park on the city's Westside after the man attacked the officer's vehicle and charged at them, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Imagine a world in which half the population thinks its okay to physically attack someone that they disagree with politically.

According to an arrest affidavit, Laura Elizabeth Garrett, 33, was at Northeast Park and Paw Place located at 4630 East Bay Drive in Largo around 5:30 p.m. when she got into an argument with a 72-year-old man wearing a MAGA hat.

During the altercation, documents show that the victim told investigators that Garrett hit him on the back of the head and shoulder area with a can she was holding before she jumped a fence and walked away.

She would only admit to pouring the contents of the can on this old guy, but denied hitting him. As she was being arrested and escorted out of the park ...

... she wrapped both of her legs around an officer, causing him to fall to the ground and bruise his knee.

Charges include battery on a police officer and battery on a person 65 years old or older. All because she didn't like a hat.

I'm not a lawyer, but it is my understanding that both of those charges are felonies in the State of Florida. I suppose a plea deal will be offered, but even if she doesn't serve much time, a felony will follow her.

Florida Man versus Solar Panel Salesmen

“Two men were going door-to-door ... attempting to sell solar panel packages for their company. When they arrived at (the suspect’s home) and knocked on the door, they were greeted by a woman who was upset that they were there and told them to leave,” the sheriff’s office said.

“As they began to leave the property, they suddenly heard multiple gunshots and turned to see a man ... pointing a gun in their direction. Williams then fired several more times toward them.”

Port Charlotte, Florida is about a 30 mile drive north of Fort Myers, or roughly a 100 mile drive south of Tampa.

The solar panel salesmen were unharmed. The homeowner was arrested and charged with with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Florida Man - No Shirt, No Shoes, No Police Cruiser

This is the most Florida Man story I've seen in a long time. Florida Man Leads Wild Police Chase After Stealing Deputy Cruiser

Police in Florida say an attempted murder suspect stole a deputy's cruiser... then pulled over and carjacked a driver... before crashing and being arrested. Oh, and he wasn't wearing a shirt.

He broke into his ex's place and was causing trouble. The cops show up, she runs with her child, and he steals the cop's SUV.

He then stops, carjacks another vehicle, crashes and is arrested.

There is video, but it is a news broadcast so it is cut down to almost nothing. And while you can see that he has something on his feet, they aren't shoes, or I don't think they are.

First she parked in a handicapped parking space. (I don't think excessive narcissism counts for getting a parking pass.) She got into a heated argument about that.

Then she was having an argument about that, she noticed that someone was recording video of the 1st fight. She then got in a fight demanding that the video be deleted.

That’s when the disgruntled woman spotted the man filming her from across the lot, where he was simply giddy about catching the latest juicy scoop which was shared with 43,000 social media followers on YouTube.

“We got beef! Old lady beef at Publix,” he mused.

But the woman wasn’t interested in becoming a social media celebrity, and within seconds was up in the man’s face and demanding he delete the footage, threatening to start swinging if he refused.

You can read the details, or check out the video. (The confrontation with the guy recording the video starts at 1:35 or so.) But long story short, she did end up taking a swing at the guy who was recording.

‘F***ing erase that or I’ll punch the f*** out of you!’, she threatened, coming toward the man aggressively.

‘Hey, lady, you’re crazy!’, he says, the woman putting him back on his heels.

But when she tried to deliver a knockout blow, but the punch was so wild that it caused her to tumble to the pavement, her anger backfiring in spectacular Karen fashion.

Florida Man and the Fried Chicken Attack

Most headlines containing the words "Florida Man" will not be for stories about rational people.

Okay, I know this Florida man attacked his sister and everything, but I'm just over here trying to figure out how someone just wastes a bag of Church's Chicken like this. I mean, that's a huge party fowl if you ask me.

I haven't had Church's Fried Chicken in a very long time. I used to love the dirty rice.

Looks like Khanye is using the hangry defense for the chicken attack, because his excuse for his outrage is that he was really hungry and his sister offered him one of the worst pieces in the bag. I'll assume she told him to deal with what was one of those tiny drumsticks with barely any meat on it, so then he proceeded to grab the bag from her and just start chucking pieces at her.

He was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery, as he has a history of attacking his sister, but those charges were dropped. I hope he was forced to buy replacement chicken.

Florida Man Strikes Again

Florida Man was acting erratically. (I'm shocked.) He was threatening the life of a baby. Bystanders intervened to save the baby. One of those people, a truck driver, suffered a broken arm.

The situation took a violent turn when Kaercher broke a man’s arm using the shovel and continued his assault. It was then that the injured man, a truck driver, managed to retrieve his gun. As Kaercher advanced towards him with the Bible in hand, the driver, acting in self-defense, fired multiple shots, hitting Kaercher in the chest through the Bible.

Both the truck driver and the guy acting crazy were hospitalized for treatment. The baby was treated at a nearby pediatric emergency room.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, with charges pending for Kaercher. Authorities have indicated that the driver’s use of his firearm was in self-defense, highlighting the critical importance of being prepared to protect oneself.

Florida Man - Does Cured Meat Count As a Deadly Weapon?

Most headlines that include "Florida Man" don't tell of stories with happy endings. Florida man hurls sausages at older brother during disagreement: police

According to the arrest affidavit from the Pinneles County Police Department, 60-year-old Ray Allen got into a heated argument with his older brother in the backyard of their St. Petersburg's home on Saturday, December 2.

Police said that Allen hurled the sausages directly towards his brother's right side of his face.

If it was a summer sausage that could do some damage. If it was raw bratwurst, not so much.

Officers did not say what type of sausage was used.

EMTs flushed the brothers eyes with saline, and the sausage-thrower was arrested.

Oh, and alcohol "may" have played a role.

Florida Woman - Not the Sharpest Tool in the Shed

From the NY Post: Florida woman busted after calling cops over stolen weed

Lily Rinker, 23, made the complaint at 2 a.m. last Thursday from a Best Western in Stuart, a coastal city 40 miles north of West Palm Beach, according to a police report shared by The Smoking Gun.

She told an arriving officer that a man named Carlos — whom she had only recently met — left her hotel room after taking half a gram of pot, worth as little as $5 to $10, from a larger $30 stash she had in her grinder.

I shocked to learn that she had outstanding warrants. She was arrested.

While possession of marijuana is illegal in the Sunshine State, it was unclear if she was being charged over the paltry amount, which would be a misdemeanor.

Peak Florida - Independence Day Edition

The Fighting Fish (Miami Marlins) decided that it would be a wonderful idea to bring your dog to a baseball game. Sounds okay, as long as they are well behaved, but they planned the event, "Bark in the Park," for Monday, July 3rd.

Coincidentally, they also scheduled a massive fireworks display for 15 minutes after the end of the game on Monday, July 3rd. They called it the “ultimate fireworks show.”

What could possibly go wrong?

Karma Is a Bitch

The only bad thing about the fire is that her kid got injured. Florida woman was shoplifting when car with 2 children inside burst into flames: cops

The Orlando native then went inside the store with a man, who has not been identified, and allegedly began stealing from the store, according to police.

Nearly an hour later, she left the store and found her car engulfed in a massive blaze.

The mother dropped all of the allegedly stolen items in the store and ran towards the vehicle, cops said.

Bystanders helped rescue the kids, who should not have been left in the car in Florida.

Moore was arrested on May 31 and charged with aggravated child neglect and arson as well as petty theft and battery charges. She is being held in Seminole County Jail on a $48,000 bond, jail records show.

Seminole county takes are more traditional approach to law an order, than say California, or NYC, so I expect that she will spend some time in jail.

Florida Woman Throws Wine at Matt Gaetz

Speech from the Right is violence; violence from the Left is speech. Or something. But maybe not in this case. Woman arrested after throwing wine at Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, deputies say.

Deputies announced on social media that Selena Chambers, 41, threw the wine at Gaetz after shouting obscenities at him during an event in Miramar Beach.

Chambers was later arrested and faces a misdemeanor charge of battery and a felony charge of battery on an elected official.

Whenever there's a conservative who acts out of line, it's like the biggest story in the world, but when you get a radicalized Leftist breaking the peace in my community, who traveled here by the way from Tallahassee, Florida, I doubt it will get the same pickup.

In Florida, Golf is Apparently a Contact Sport

Definitely something in the water. Golfers get chippy over foursome's slow pace of play, throwing wild kicks and punches on Florida course

Members of one group started barking at another because of their pace of play. However, the foursome getting the mouthful said there wasn’t much they could do, blaming their slowness on the group ahead of them.

Shouts turned into a kick, and then punches.

I never liked golf, but it - like so many things - used to be civilized. No longer.

Strangely enough this article doesn't include the phrase "Florida Man." I'm sure that is an oversight on someone's part. It is definitely Peak Florida, at least for today.

Pennsylvania Man - Just as Weird as Florida Man

They give a couple of examples of hijacked school busses, but this one is probably everyone's favorite.

Then there was the school bus hijacker that gave up because the kids wouldn't stop asking him questions. That was a good one:

But today's story from Pennsylvania is special. Police were in pursuit of a stolen bus.

Now, I'm not sure a school bus can reach the threshold of a "high speed" pursuit, but they're certainly big and dangerous. At one point, Saunders hit a berm, nearly flipping the bus.

After that, Saunders drove into a neighborhood and exited the bus.

Imagine the officers' surprise to find that the driver of the bus stripped his clothes off and was now fleeing on foot, naked.

There's no word on what kinds of drugs were involved in the incident.

Sadly, it makes more sense than the news coming out of the Manhattan DA's Office.
