Hunter Biden refused to answer a Congressional subpoena, and instead held a press conference. The Slimes "reported" on said conference.

The Times likely picked up on that, which is why it altered the quote to simply say "business," providing an overly broad (and falsely framed) dismissal of Joe Biden's involvement. The newspaper has since stealth-edited its story (i.e. no correction) to include the word "financially," but it seems exceedingly unlikely the original quote was published by mistake.

There are simply no lengths to which the mainstream media won't go to protect the Bidens. That much is clear.

I can't even be shocked that the media is covering for the Bidens and the Democrats. It is what they do.

Hunter Biden Finally Charged

The court filings detail charges Hunter Biden would have entered a diversion program for under the failed plea agreement, charging him with failing to disclose drug use when seeking to buy a weapon — resulting in two charges — as well as for unlawful possession of a firearm while addicted to a controlled substance.

After the collapse of the sweetheart deal that was offered by the DOJ, but torpedoed, some charge was inevitable.

The most serious charges carry up to 10 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines.

I don't expect that he will serve any serious time, or even pay a large fine. That would involve Justice, of which there is very little for the likes of the Biden family.

Now if only the Secret Service could figure out who brought cocaine into the White House.

DOJ Still Trying to Fix Things for Hunter B.

Emma-Jo Morris, the (former) New York Post editor who was behind the Hunter Biden Laptop story testifies before Congress on the depth of the censorship mechanisms put in place to protect the powerful in Washington.

She describes what was done to cover up for Hunter Biden, and "The Big Guy." The lengths the government went to in order to make sure that this information could be discounted. Here is a quote from near the end of her opening statement:

In private sworn testimony, Morell told the House Judiciary Committee that Antony Blinken, now secretary of state, was the senior campaign official who reached out to him “on or before” Oct. 17, 2020, three days after The Post published an email from the laptop suggesting Hunter had introduced his Ukrainian business partner to his father, then-Vice President Biden.

Morell, identified as a potential CIA director under Biden, said he organized the letter to “help Vice President Biden … because I wanted him to win the election.”

The NY Post was suspended from Twitter for posting the first article about Hunter Biden's laptop. Numerous people were banned - had their accounts deleted - from Twitter. I'm not on F*c*book, but I can only assume that the same shit was happening over their.

Then the NY Times decides to admit - in the bottom of a story, hidden behind a paywall - that it was in fact, Hunter's laptop.

The guy who owned the computer repair store, where Hunter Biden left the laptop, was investigated by the FBI for something about spreading false info, he was targetted by the IRS, because they are the willing stooges of the Democrats, he recieved numerous death threats, and he was forced out of business. But hey, the NY Times admitted they were wrong. 18 months later.

The whole US intelligence operation needs to be cleaned starting at the top, but maybe not going all the way to the bottom. I would like to think that some people are still good, but the higher-ups have become too political. They have become the Stazi, and the FSB and the KGB. Just with different 3-letter acronyms. They have become appendages of The Party.

Actually the answer to the question in the title of this post is, "The Stazi was more honest about who they were." They were stone-cold bastards and never pretended to be anything else.
