Who was worse? Please Stop Slandering Jefferson Davis : The Other McCain
In recent days, various of my conservative friends have thought it amusing to compare Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to Jefferson Davis. The intent is to compare Walz’s opposition to federal immigration enforcement to the Confederate president’s defense of Southern independence. They mean this as a joke, see? “States’ Rights, LOL!”

America wanted the answers to two crucial questions:
- Is there any politician in America less qualified for high public office than Kamala Harris?
and
- Is it possible for debate moderators to be worse than ABC’s David Muir and Linsey Davis?
The answer to both questions is a surprising “yes.” Tim Walz is less qualified than Kamala, and Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan were the worst debate moderators in the history of debate moderators.

Before we talk about Tim Walz’s latest “gaffe” (which is what the media call it when a Democrat gets caught lying) can we first talk about the underlying issue? Human reproduction is not complicated, and requires no medical assistance. Generations of our ancestors, stretching back to the dawn of history, successfully reproduced without any more help than could be obtained with a bottle of wine to set the mood. To this day, getting pregnant remains so simple that it is easily accomplished by 10th-graders in the backseat of a Dodge. So when you heard Democrats talk about “reproductive health,” you know that some kind of deception is being practiced.
The Other McCain is a father of six, so I'm guessing that he is familiar with "bottle of wine to set the mood" physics.

From Town Hall: News of Tim Walz Hosting Pro-Hitler Imam Gets Worse With Unearthed Footage
Last Friday, days after he was selected as Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate, it was reported that Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) had hosted Asad Zaman, an imam who spoke out against Israel on October 7 and shared pro-Hitler propaganda. While the Harris-Walz campaign claimed that Walz had no personal relationship with Zaman, a new report is out showing otherwise.
On Tuesday morning, the Washington Examiner's Gabe Kaminsky, who previously reported on the relationship, posted footage of remarks from Walz about Zaman. A longer version of such remarks has been shared to YouTube.

This won't make a drop of difference to the Left. I'm not convinced that it will make any difference in November, because I completely expect cheating to rule the day.
It is not about hunting. No, Liberals, the Second Amendment Still Isn’t About Hunting
On the subject of Minnesota governor Tim Walz as candidate to VP...
Walz routinely touts his gun ownership and affinity for duck hunting as a reason why people should take his opinions in favor of more gun control seriously.
He completely misses the point.
The Second Amendment to the Constitution has never been about hunting.
Almost every major study has found that Americans use their firearms in self-defense between 500,000 and 3 million times annually, according to a 2013 report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2021, the most comprehensive study ever conducted on the issue concluded that roughly 1.6 million defensive gun uses occur in the United States every year.
Israel has decided that a disarmed population has some problems. And I wonder how Ukraine feels about that now.
I don't expect the Left to learn those lessons.
