Sweden's Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard recently announced that the Swedish government would be dropping not just the word but the entire concept of "Islamophobia," out of a preference for freedom of speech.
Sweden has been so worried about being Progressive, that they have let terror organizations set up shop.
In May 2025, a French Interior Ministry report, "Muslim Brotherhood and Political Islamism in France," cited evidence attesting "to [the organization's] active presence" in Sweden.
So the crime figures for 2025 in Sweden is now in. And once again, it is looking very bad.
This is a follow up to an article from a few years back.
Sweden has a rape crisis and it is not being talked about because it doesn’t fit the mainstream media agenda of Sweden supposedly being some kind of Socialist utopia.
In fact, would you be surprised if I told you that El Salvador now has much, much less reported rapes than Sweden? The truth may shock you.
Most of the article is behind a paywall, but enough is available.
Things are so bad that 17.9% of 15 year old girls report having been a victim of a sexual crime in Sweden.
Sweden will no longer exist as a part of western civilization. From Peter Imanuelsen at PeterSweden we get the following post. SHOCKING: Now 65 no-go zones in Sweden
Police recently released their new report on dangerous areas in the country and the news is not good.
There are now 65 areas that police list as ”vulnerable areas” in the country. This is just a politically correct term for what is essentially a no-go zone.
They also have another term called ”especially vulnerable areas” where things are the worst.
But then eliminating western civilization was the goal of at least some of the immigrants. I'm not sure that was the goal of the people in charge of letting the immigrants into Sweden.
There are also reports of people in these areas taking on themselves the role of ” Islamist morality police” enforcing strict rules on women in some of these areas.
They act as ”religious enforcers” and attempt to impose sharia like rules in these areas.
There was a time, and not that long ago, that Sweden was one of the safest countries in the world. That is no longer true. From PeterSweden: The Swedish rape crisis is just getting WORSE
There was a whopping 10.167 reported rapes [per 100,000] in the year 2024, a new record high and a 7% increase from 2023.
Compared with 2015, this is a whopping 68% increase in rapes.
That is much higher than it was 20 years ago.
But what makes this even worse is that out of these, a whopping 4524 reported rapes were committed against people under the age of 18, in other words children.
Let's look at the comparison that no one wants you to see.
England and Wales: 117 reported rapes per 100.000 people.
Sweden: 96 reported rapes per 100.000 people.
Poland: 1.5 reported rapes per 100.000 people.
Aside from rape, Sweden also has a problem with bombings. Click thru for details and links to more info.
Sweden used to be considered one of the most peaceful countries in the world. Now it is a disaster. Socialism and Socialist policies has destroyed my country.
Can you guess which is going to win? It turns out that charging really large batteries is a problem. It also turns out that politicians and environmental activists, and probably corporate executives, know little or nothing about physics and engineering.
We have a story from MGUY Australia on the reality of charging batteries. An all electric ferry was planned between Gothenburg, Sweden and Frederikshavn, Denmark. The length of that passage is about 100 kilometers. First is an article from 2021 when the plans were announced. Stena Line signs deal to launch two battery-powered ferries by 2030
Said to be the world’s first fossil fuel-free RoPax vessels of their size, these ferries will be able to accommodate between 1,000 and 1,500 passengers.
They will have a battery capacity of 60-70 MWh and require a high voltage shore power cable of around 30-40 MW.
RoPax stands for Roll-on, Passenger ferry. This would be a ship that can handle both cars, and people without their cars.
Finding a spare 30 to 40 Megawatts of power is not easy, and it's not only the excess capacity. Electricity generation at that level is not like turning on a light switch. That is 30 MW of transient load. That is the kind of load that can bring down a power grid. You would basically need a separate power plant, which you would spin up, charge the battery, and then shut down.
When they decided to shut the project down, they didn't bother to translate the "bad news" into English, but Google translate can help with that. Stena Line stoppar elfärjeplaner – tar för lång tid att få elnät - OR - Stena Line stops electric ferry plans – takes too long to get electricity grid.
The world's first fossil-free ferry lines were supposed to be in place by 2030, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Stena Line's planned investment of approximately SEK 3 billion in two new electric ferries between Gothenburg and Fredrikshavn has been halted until further notice, reports Dagens industri.
"The most important reason is that unfortunately it is expected to take too long to get access to an electricity grid connection to be able to charge fully electric ships quickly enough," says Johan Live, press manager at Stena Line to Di.
They go on to try and put lipstick on that pig, but in the end they will be running the ferry between those two cities on diesel engines. But don't worry, they will be capable of running on biofuel and e-methanol. (Pay no attention to the environmental devastation caused by palm oil plantations in Indonesia!)
In recent years, explosions have become a routine occurrence in Modern Multicultural Sweden. Hardly a day goes by without culture-enriching youths blowing up something or somebody. Hand grenades are particularly popular as a means of expressive social interaction.
The significance of the incident described in the following video report seems to be that explosive violence has escaped from the “sensitive zones” where gangs rule the streets and sharia law is enforced, and has moved into neighborhoods mostly inhabited by ethnic Swedes. Now Sven and Ingrid have no choice: they must experience cultural enrichment first-hand.
There is a video with subtitles detailing some of the recent insanity. A transcrip of the translation is also provided if you would rather read that.
00:13 Here in an idyllic row house area in Tumba, south of Stockholm,
00:18 some type of explosive device was thrown into the home of a 2-child family

00:25 We have met people here who live in the area where there is a prevailing depression today.
Read the whole thing. You won't see anything like this reported in the "Professional Media" in America, because of narratives.
Once upon a time, Sweden was one of the (if not the) safest countries in the world; it was certainly one of the safest countries in Europe. That is no longer the case. DISASTER: Sweden had 32 bombings in January.
Something is happening in Sweden and the mainstream media is not telling you about it.
You see, Sweden used to be one of the safest countries in Europe. But now it has turned into the most unsafe country.
32 bombing attacks in one month is crazy. In 2023 there were more than 300 bombings.
Keep in mind that Sweden is a small country with only just over 10 million inhabitants.
Considering the population in Sweden, lets put things into perspective.
If the equivalent number of bombing attacks would have taken place with the much bigger population of the USA, it would equal around 9500 bombings.
Now why do you suppose the media is not reporting on this?
So what is actually going on in Sweden, who are responsible for these bombings? Let’s take a look…
Unfortunately, the rest of that article is behind a Substack paywall. I don't begrudge PeterSweden that, as you have to make a living.
Explosions around the country have become an almost everyday occurrence, so much so that the national press barely reports them all now. Motorcycle gangs, rival gang members, antisemites, Islamic fundamentalists and young people doing it for fun have been those mostly blamed.
Hat tip to Theo Spark, for the first link at the top.
Sweden has a population of about 10.5 million, or about the same as the state of North Carolina. Twenty years ago, you had to seek out “far right” sources (which, of course, I did) to learn anything about the problems caused by immigration in Sweden. Many of the atrocity tales came from the city of Malmö which, for some reason, was a magnet for Third World immigration and Malmö became notorious as a “no-go zone” ruled by violent foreign gangs. After the surge of migrants circa 2015, however, a taboo topic that was once relegated to obscure right-wing blogs has recently become the subject of mainstream journalism.
And gun violence has risen in Sweden to alarming levels.
In terms of gun violence, Sweden has become the Chicago of Europe, so to speak: “Twenty years ago, crimes involving firearms were almost non-existent [in Sweden]. Yet in 2022 the gun murder rate in capital Stockholm was around 25 times higher than in London.”
Gun crime is not the only sort. Bombings are quite common in part of Sweden.

This is not news to me. Here are some of my old posts on Sweden:
“Already 20 years ago, Raimo Huolman, 55, was singled out as “the mafia’s gunsmith”. – I am like Bofors, he said then. Now he has – once again – been sentenced to four and a half years in prison for, among other things, extremely serious weapons offences.
Click thru for several photos, including of his 3D printing set up, and some of the firearms.
Several identical firearms have been seized in recent months and appear to be mostly 3D printed double-action pepper box type revolvers using a Webley-Fosbery type tracked cylinder arrangement.
The chambers are lined with steel and chambered in .22 rimfire. They appear to be functional, but it is hard to say how effective.
Sweden’s prime minister on Thursday said that he’s summoned the head of the military to discuss how the armed forces can help police deal with an unprecedented crime wave that has shocked the country with almost daily shootings and bombings.
How unprepared are they? They are calling in the military to take over some protection details and possibly help with surveillance to free up police to "fight crime."
The prime minister said that the government is overhauling Sweden's criminal code to give police more powers, criminals longer sentences and witnesses better protection.
“Swedish laws aren’t designed for gang wars and child soldiers,” [Prime Minister Ulf] Kristersson said.
It all sounds good until the part where he says he is confering with NYC Mayor Eric Adams on approaches to fighting crime. NYC hasn't been the best under Adams, maybe he should check in with past mayors.
Late Monday, an explosion occurred in Hasselby, a suburb of the capital, Stockholm. In the early hours of Tuesday, a blast in Linkoping, some 110 miles to the southwest, ripped the facade off a three-story building, leaving debris strewn across a parking area.
The blasts are attributed to conflicts between gangs.
Swedish radio said Tuesday that the explosion in Linkoping was connected to a feud between criminal gangs, a growing problem in Sweden with drive-by shootings and bombings. Two gangs — one led by a Swedish-Turkish dual national who lives in Turkey, the other by his former lieutenant — are reportedly fighting over drugs and weapons.
Since this happened last week, it seems (to me anyway) to be the impetus to do something drastic, like call in the military.
Sweden has gone from having one of the lowest incidences of gang violence to one of the highest over the last 20 years, according to the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention.
Last year, 90 explosions and 101 attempted explosive attacks were recorded, according to data from the Swedish police. So far this year [through the end of August], more than 100 explosions have already been recorded.
Hard not to be shocked by that, especially starting where they did. There is an explanation as to why the radical change in Sweden, but it is not politically correct.
What a shock. Herd immunity, and no panic, solved the problem better than the other countries that freaked out.
Sweden, having famously refused to follow the world in imposing lockdowns and mask mandates in 2020, had the best Covid pandemic record in Europe, a new analysis by the BBC shows.
The medical establishment is still trying to explain away the numbers. Not very convincingly, but still trying.
Responding to Sweden’s success, Prof. Sridhar commented that it’s hard to read straight across from Scandinavian countries to the U.K., arguing “we’d never look like either Sweden or Norway”, and describing them as “healthier, wealthier and more equal” countries that are very different to the U.K. Right. So, the U.K. would have had a disaster of Fergusonian proportions had it failed to impose stay-at-home orders and mask coercion on the population. But Sweden is populated entirely by rich, athletic socialists so could get away with it. That’s anthropology, I guess
Sweden, which avoided strict lockdowns, now has a lower COVID mortality rate than 29 countries in Europe alone.
Because lockdowns didn't work. I leave it to you to find those stats - they are out there for the US states. Here's some data from Sweden.
I spent a great deal of time in 2020 and 2021 arguing that the media was getting the narrative wrong on Sweden, pointing out that Sweden’s response had resulted in exponentially fewer deaths than modelers had predicted and lower mortality overall than most of Europe.
The BBC also noted Sweden’s economy had not suffered nearly as much as the economies of other European nations, and, more importantly, as other countries were implementing more lockdown measures in 2021, daily COVID deaths in Sweden had reached zero.
Because lockdowns were never about health. They were about control. If they were about health, they did a very bad job of producing it.
“[There’s a] persistent tendency of men to see only the immediate effects of a given policy,” Hazlitt wrote in Economics in One Lesson, “and to neglect to inquire what the long-run effects of that policy will be not only on that special group but on all groups.”
Hazlitt described this as “the fallacy of overlooking secondary consequences.”
The consequences of COVID Policy includes a lot of people dead from depression and its affects. A generation of students whose education has been harmed. And probably a whole lot more.
