Why Is She Hulk Still in my Feed?

She Hulk was a disaster of a Disney+ show produced by Marvel back in 2022. It is too bad really. Somewhere around here I have a framed, reproduction cover of the The Savage She-Hulk, from 1979. (See the image below.) It isn't the best comic ever. It was created because at the time it was commissioned, The Hulk TV show was going, and The Bionic Woman had been launched, a female version of The Six-Million Dollar Man, and it was doing quite well. Marvel wanted to get to the copyright of a female Hulk before the network did.

The 1989-1994 run by John Byrne is the version everyone loves. She Hulk was mostly a member of the Avengers and The Fantastic Four during this era, though she did have at least one solo comic. This is the era when She Hulk began breaking the 4th wall.

I also like the early 2000s run starting with Single Green Female. Well, I like the art. I only read that online by way of my local library, so I may be misremembering how it was. I don't remember much about the story. The image to the left is from that era.

I'm not sure if Single Green Female, from the early 2000s, is better or worse.

I was living on a boat in 2004, when Single Green Female was published. Comics were contraindicated by the humidity and the lack of space for collecting.

Her origin was that she was Bruce Banner's cousin. When she was critically wounded in an assassination attempt, he saved her with a blood transfusion, but she became She Hulk as a result, with a milder version of his condition. That origin is not allowed by Disney-Marvel. A man save a woman? We couldn't have that in 2022.

With all of that, the videos/posts making the rounds are about the disasterous Disney-Marvel TV show. And it was a disaster, though Disney thought it did well enough.

This is the Critical Drinker video She-Hulk - The Show That Literally Killed Careers

Then this X post, came up on Friday Night Tights. (That is an excerpt from the full FNT episode, just dealing with Marvel.) The bit dealing with the She Hulk show, starts at 9 minutes and 50 seconds into that excerpt. I don't have it queued up, because I like the whole thing.

The excerpt is 27 minutes long.

The full FNT is at this link. It is 4 hours long. I haven't seen all of it.

This is the Film Threat News video WRITER JESSICA GAO DESTROYED SHE-HULK WITH WOKENESS. It is 15 minutes.

‡ I have strange tastes in comics, just like I have strange taste in music. In addition to liking some She Hulk that others don't, I also like The New 52 introduction of Batwoman, which most people hate. I thought the art was good, and the first story was OK, but it was Woke, and the 2nd and 3rd story arcs were not so good. (Batwoman in The New 52 was a lesbian kicked out of the military under "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," who went on to train with mercenaries. She was NOT Bruce Wayne's cousin.

Do You Think the Team Behind Lanterns Have Ever Read a Comic?

That is the question that Verbal Riot asks, and answers.

DC has released more info about what is sure to be another failed attempt to make a comic book show made by theater kids. They are basing the show on True Detective. Why? Why not base the story on Green Lantern?

This is the Verbal Riot video The Creative Team Behind Lanterns Revealed... You Should Be Worried!

Do you guys believe that anybody in this group has ever read a F*#^ing Green Lantern comic in their life?

I could say that 2 or 3 might have, but if so, they were told to shut up about it and never mention the dreaded source material. The video is about 14 minutes.

Enter The Behelit

Beast in Black is a European Heavy Metal band known for the clear, and high, singing voice of Yannis Papadopoulos. Diablo is an Action Roll Playing Game/franchise that is very popular, and Berserk is a Manga from the late 1980s that spawned both anime and video games. Roll them all together and you get today's song/video.

This is what Metal Heads Forever had to say on April 29th. BEAST IN BLACK and Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo® Join Forces to release new track ‘Enter The Behelit

The limited-edition maxi single will feature a brand-new song ‘Enter The Behelit’ from BEAST IN BLACK, inspired by Berserk and produced exclusively for the game, as well as remastered versions of fan favourite tracks ‘Die By The Blade’ from the album From Hell With Love, and ‘The Fifth Angel’ from the band’s debut album, Berserker. With many songs taking inspiration from Berserk story and characters, the Finnish heavy metal band’s music often reflects the undercurrents of struggle, fighting against overwhelming odds, and battling inner demons – themes that are prevalent in the games of the Diablo franchise.

This song is "Enter The Behelit" by Beast in Black. It was released to YouTube at the end of April, and amassed 1 million views by the middle of May.

Conservative Art or Apolitical Art?

I usually like what Clifton Duncan has to say, and I even appreciate what he is saying here, but I have to take issue with some things. It's Time for a Renaissance. - by Clifton Duncan

I do agree with the first part of his statement, or part of it anyway. The Right abandoned the arts and pop culture. Or to be more direct, we were booted out on some level, and some conservatives just couldn't be bothered with something so nebulous.

When I first moved to Cincinnati I went to the theater regularly. The city had a small but modern theater and arts complex, and the theater company put on several wonderful, and a few not-so-wonderful productions. When I moved back to Cincinnati, after about 10 years in Florida, the company had gone so woke that I stopped going. A few of my friends who also had attended regularly had stopped going. Do you want to be lectured about how evil you are because of the color of your skin? Neither did we.

While you could look at a lot of film studios, and dissect where they went woke, Alan Ng of Film Threat has thoroughly documented the downfall of Disney Animation in his series The D-Files. In the case of Disney, white men, old or otherwise, were forced out along with anyone who dared to question the Woke agenda.

But Clifton is focusing more on what the Right is, or in a lot of cases is not, creating.

Many stars of New Media call themselves “Culture Warriors,” and they need to stop.

They are pundits. Posters. Podcasters. Talking heads with no passion or aptitude for the arts. They create ZERO culture.

On the rare occasion they notice the arts, it's to voice tired complaints about "the left" having destroyed them. They lament the lack of beauty or depth or transcendence in today's art and entertainment, the crassness and emptiness of modern music, or the ugliness of modern architecture. They create nothing themselves.

Now maybe Clifton is watching different YouTube personalities than I am, but a lot of the folks I watch are very passionate. I'm guessing, only guessing, that they are passionate about art forms that Clinton doesn't consider art.

As one of Clifton Duncan's commenters points out, Daily Wire has been producing art. Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot, Run, Hide, Fight, and they have an entire channel devoted to children's' programming. I don't subscribe to the Daily Wire's website, so as far as I know I don't have access to any of their programming. But it does exist.

The documentary Am I Racist was the highest grossing documentary of 2024, and perhaps of the past 10 years. Even though it meets all of the criteria for consideration for an Oscar - racial composition of crew, etc. - the Academy was insulted when Matt Walsh submitted it for consideration. How dare a conservative think he could rate an award!

The movie that jumps to the front of my mind from the past few years would be Sound of Freedom. Produced by Fox, it was suppressed by Disney, until Angel Studios finally managed to get it released.

Angel Studios also produces a fair bit of content, but because it is Christian in nature, my guess is that Mr. Duncan discounts it. (Everyone else does.)

But let's get back to the "none of the pundits on the right are creating art."

Will "The Critical Drinker" Jordan wrote a series of books, and had one of them, or related scene involving the characters produced as a short film that is on YouTube.

Shad Brooks, of Shadiversity, Knights Watch, and Friday Night Tights (all YouTube channels) wrote a fantasy novel, Shadow of the Conqueror, which he has listed as volume one of Chronicles of Everfall.

And then there is the art that I assume is beneath Clifton Duncan. The quintessential art form of the 21st Century is the video game. As an industry it is 10 times the size of movies and television. And while the Woke mind virus has been infecting that industry, as it infected Hollywood, gamers are having none of it, and several game studios have closed following expensive, high-profile, woke failures. The companies, mostly from Asia at this point, that are resisting the Woke scolds are making a bunch of money.

There is no mention of video games in his article. My guess is that he doesn't consider them art.

But it costs millions of dollars, in some cases 100s of millions of dollars, to create a video game. What about art that can be created on a smaller scale? What about graphic novels and comic books? Does Clifton Duncan even consider that to be art? Most of the Right doesn't.

RazörFist, who has the YouTube channel The Rageaholic, wrote and published Ghost of the Badlands.

Jay "Drunk3PO" David created the comic series Achromatic Chronicles. Jay was a fifth grade teacher when he got the idea to write a story that "taught purpose and value." While they are aimed at kids, kids need art as well.

Gabe Eltaeb was a colorist for DC Comics, and then an independent contractor in the industry. Because of the Woke insanity he was faced with, he quit and started Big Man Comics. Their current offering is DEAN CAIN: ALL- AMERICAN LAWMAN.

And then there is Eric July. Eric created the company Rippaverse to counteract the downfall of his beloved comics from Marvel and DC. The Rippaverse wasn't started to be Right Wing comics and graphic novels. It was started to be apolitical. ISOM, Blood Ruth, Alphacore, Yaira, The Horseman, and more.

So some people are creating art. And encouraging others to do so as well. It just may not be coming to Clifton Duncan's attention because of his training in the classical arts.

DC Comics Has Decided YouTube is to Blame for their Problems

The people who are in charge of the American comic book are completely Woke. The current Superman (Clark Kent's son) is gay, as is the current Robin from the Batman series. There is a reason that a single Manga can outsell the entire US comic book industry. And that reason is Woke doesn't sell. But they can't admit that, so it must be someone else's fault. YouTube, or more accurately YouTubers are to blame. People would buy their woke garbage if not for YouTube!

They have decided that the problem is YouTubers who are radicalizing people against their Woke shyte. Yeah, I know it's a stretch, but they can't admit that the stuff they are producing is crap. To admit that they are producing crap, would be for a writer to admit they can't write, or that they don't know how to craft an engrossing story. They're Artists, or something. The problem lies in someone else.

This is a problem shared by Hollywood, the western gaming industry, the media, and everything else that is concentrated in Los Angeles, or California in general, or the eastern seaboard Blue enclaves.

From That Park Place, we get the following: DC Comics Appears To Malign YouTuber Jeremy Griggs Aka DDay Cobra Of Geeks + Gamers By Turning Him Into Blue Beetle Villain

So regardless of how bad ass they make Griggs’ fictional commentary in the graphic novel, the point bears repeating, to borrow a phrase from Niemeier, he is still be painted as a villain. His views are being painted as villainous no matter the true substance of them. And that’s the real point, they want to associate these viewpoints with villains and evil. They want to condition people to believe these views are evil regardless of their actual merit.

In contrast, they show Blue Beetle, the protagonist, lecturing the individuals who listen to these views while he collaborates with a woman who has an Anarchy and Anti-Columbus Society on her laptop.

That is pretty much a textbook definition of propaganda.

I found all of this because of the followin RK Outpost video DC Comics ATTACKS Jeremy From Geeks + Gamers And Other Youtubers In CRINGE Blue Beetle Comic

The current focus of the attack seems to be Jeremy of Geeks and Gamers, though they don't mention him by name. The vehicle they are using is a recent edition of Blue Beetle.

The Systematic Destruction of Pop Culture Heroes

There have been many videos made, and articles written, about Kathleen Kennedy, Leslye Headland (former personal assistant to Harvey Weinstein) and their destruction of the Star Wars franchise. The one I've chosen to highlight notes one fact. As long as people have been telling stories, first around campfires, then in plays and novels, we have told stories about people, sometimes fantastic people, who stood up to adversity and became better than themselves. Stories meant to inspire us to be better.

In movies we had characters that we also looked up to. From Sam Spade (Humphrey Bogart) in The Maltese Falcon, to Zorro (the 1940 version is best) and Robin Hood and Geoffrey Thorpe from The Sea Hawk, right down to Luke Skywalker and Indiana Jones, or Wonder Woman. But today, all of the heroes have been destroyed.

Our heroes have been turned into bitter old men, who were never all that heroic in the first place. This isn't the anti-hero of the 1970s. Inspector "Dirty" Harry Callahan, Paul Kersey (of the Death Wish movies) had some heroic characteristics. This is the erasure of heroism.

The Girl Boss has destroyed female example of excellence in another way. "You are perfect, just the way you are," is not really a life lesson, no matter how much the narcissists in Hollywood try to force it to be one. Characters like Rose Sayer in The African Queen, or Eleanor of Aquitaine in The Lion in Winter, and Ethel Thayer in On Golden Pond (all played by Katherine Hepburn) showed us how to face adversity and keep striving to be better. Even Bunny Watson in Desk Set, a fairly dated comedy, had lessons to teach about what it important.

This is the Drinker's Chasers video We've Become A Culture Without Heroes.

The Sea Hawk is one of my favorite Errol Flynn movies. If you haven't seen it, I can recommend it highly. Also Captain Blood isn't bad. Both are swashbuckling adventures on the high seas, with a bit of romance added to the The Sea Hawk.

The First Class of Job Replaced By AI - Anime/Manga Translators

But then they needed to be replaced by something, if not AI, human translators that were not so woke. English Localizers Unhappy After ‘The Ancient Magus’ Bride’ Announces AI-Human Hybrid Simulpubs: “Such Disrespect For The Substance Of The Original Text Is Saddening”

The people who translate Manga and/or Anime from Japanese to English for the American audience are known as Localizers. You would think that would be a fairly straightforward job. Take the Japanese and translate it to English. Of course they can't do that. They feel it is their responsibility to update the material to put to their Leftist messages into the work. They have been warned for years about F-ing Around (with the translations) because when you F around, eventually you will get to the Find Out phase. This seems to be where we have arrived.

In seemingly realizing that they no longer have free reign to butcher original works in service of memes or tired sociopolitical screeds, a number of English-language localizers are unhappy with Japanese publisher Bushiroad Works’ recent turn to using a combination of AI technology and human editors to produce their own English-language simulpubs for Kore Yamazaki’s The Ancient Magus’ Bride.

The localizers would brag about changing things. This is not something that they were asked to do by the authors or the publishers, and it wasn't something that made the customers in America happy. But they did it anyway. There was some question as to why the worst of them were not blacklisted by the publishers, but they seem to have gotten there in the end.

In relation to a controversy that erupted in early 2023, Leonoudakis, one of the most despised localizers, bragged about not doing accurate translations, saying her translation was explicitly NOT for fans who wanted accuracy. And now that same person, who bragged about changing the source material and not being accurate in her translations, is one of the people complaining about how disrespectful it is to the language to be using AI.

Even people who are sympathetic to the "AI is stealing our jobs" position, are laughing at the Localizers. They spent years F-ing around, and now... (Hat tip to Vara Dark: Infamous Localizer FURIOUS Studios Are Using AI To Translate Instead Of Activists WHO BUTCHER Work.)

I'm Shocked - Shocked! - That No One Wants Gay Superhero Comics

They especially don't want classic superheroes turned gay. After comic-book readers rejected bi-Superman, DC tried again with a gay Green Lantern. The results were the same. | Not the Bee

Politics is downstream from culture, and conservatives abandoned pop culture (which is actually culture) to the Left. "It isn't important." "It's only [fill in the non-sporting-event cultural thing]." Movies. TV shows. Comics. Music. Conservatives were busy with IMPORTANT things. Now they wonder whey the politics is so screwed up.

The only good thing is that DC and Marvel have pushed things so far - starting in comics, but also in movies - that they may have pushed things right over the edge.

So. DC. They started last year with the bisexual superman. No one bought it. It was canceled in (almost) record time. Then DC tried to celebrate Hispanic heritage month. Of course they weren't alone.

Rep. Vincente Gonzales, a Texas Democrat kept calling his opponent, Mayra Flores, was just called "Miss Frijoles." Then there was Jill Biden and her breakfast burritos / Latinx inclusion statement. So DC went right along with that, and included a bunch of covers that included characters eating Mexican food. You can see the covers at that link.

DC Comics has decided to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month, September 15-October 15, by releasing covers of its superheroes eating Hispanic food. [Reference]

But the cover for the Green Lantern was worst, because it took a cover by Jorge Molina, that celebrated the fact that Mr. Molina was of Mexican heritage, and the character, Kyle Reyner, had a Mexican heritage that included a real tribute, and reduced Reyner's heritage to a bag of tamales. And the Left calls other people racists.

And now, DC is trying again by introducing a new gay-Green Lantern title called Green Lantern: Alan Scott. [SNIP]

You might be surprised to learn that sales of the new book were abysmal.

Or maybe not so surprised.

The writer of this travesty, Tim Sheridan, blamed fans for being haters and ists and phobes. And called on all of the alphabet community to please support the book. How could he convince the publishers that there is a market for this stuff, if there is no market for this stuff?

The Comicbook Hub system that tracks sales across random stores did not register the book on its charts … at all.

Sales were all but non-existent.

This won't be the end for Woke DC, just like the box office disaster that is The Marvels won't be the end of Woke Disney/Marvel. I'm convinced that DC will try again with a gay Superman, and a gay Green Lantern, and probably other titles and characters as well. These are not the first that they published, and these are not the first to crash and burn. (Hat tip to IMAO - Sad Trombone: Waah -WAAH.)

"Don't Let Your Arrogance Get in the Way"

Eric July is a successful creator. He has decided to share some of his insights on making a living creatively. I find his insights fascinating, though I would have thought some of them were obvious, like the fact that likes on Twitter, F*c*book, and other social media don't pay the bills.

Eric July is a successful YouTube creator, which is why I know who he is. He also has a band or two (hardcore metal) that have charted. Most recently he started a comic company, and released ISOM #1. That first comic sold more than $3 million, including comics, signed comics, art work, etc. It is quite good. Since then he has started a pre-order campaign for ISOM #2, which is closing in on $2 million. (I purchased the first comic and pre-ordered the 2nd.)

And you should know that Eric hires professionals from the comic industry, and pays them as much or more (and in a more timely fashion) than they get paid by the likes of Disney/Marvel or DC. Gabe Eltaeb, a veteran of the comic industy, did the color work on ISOM #2, for example.

Outside of your company, the number one people, and perhaps the only people, that matter... Are. Your. Customers.

You are only a successful artist, if people pay for your work. This is something that filmmakers

Woke Scolds Want to Destroy Frank Castle, The Punisher

While many on the Right keep saying, "It is just a comic book," (and less polite things) the Left understands that Culture is upstream of Politics. Woke Marvel Eliminates The Punisher Due To "Problematic" Conservative Fan Base | ZeroHedge

A year ago progressive news outlets were calling the idea of the culture war a “right-wing conspiracy theory” that had no basis in reality Yet, the injection of far-left politics into entertainment media had already started years previous, with noticeable propaganda efforts in movies, streaming television, children's shows and books, even commercial advertising was replete with progressive ideological imagery by 2016 onward.

The goal is relatively obvious – To erase competing ideals and viewpoints while saturating the market with only one political vision; a woke vision. It's called social engineering, and anyone who claims this is not happening in the US today is gaslighting.

Strangely, the American comic book industry has become a major battleground in the culture war, with heroic symbols being increasingly erased or hijacked as vehicles for woke talking points. A vast array of comic book characters are now race-swapped, converted to LGBT or they have had their histories rewritten to make them more “acceptable for modern audiences.”

Competent men? (Well, competent minority men are OK, up to a point.) White men who are anything but vile? Women who are feminine? Mothers? Complete families that love one another? We can have none of these things in popular culture. kids would learn the wrong lessons, have the wrong role models.

This explains why Disney/Marvel has been so determined to destroy the Netflix versions of the Heroes for Hire series. Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Frank Castle are the very definition from the Left of "Toxic Masculinity." Men who are strong, straight, fight against evil, don't wait for The State to act, take individual action and in the end accept individual responsibility for what they've done. Luke Cage is even able to quote bible verses. (In season one, episode four, he quotes Luke chapter 4 verse 18.) And some of the women are genuinely evil.

Comics Aren't Dead, Marvel/DC Are Dead - ISOM #2

Or they are dying, anyway. Some new comic books are doing quite well.

If you only get info about the state of the comic book industry by reading the comic-book press, you read very little about Eric July, ISOM, Yaira, Alphacore, or the rest. Eric July Launches Another Smashing Success For The Rippaverse With 'Isom #2,' Nearly $1 Million Sold In 48 Hours - Bounding Into Comics

As far as the coverage of ISOM #1 was concerned, a Bing News search returns exactly 1 entry from 2022, discussing the problems he had with PayPal. (They decided he was a scam and tried to "steal" several hundred-thousand bucks.) If you switch to Google you get a handful of negative reviews of the first book.

So it is a little refreshing to see even 1 news article on the success of the launch of ISOM #2. As I type this, the campaign, which includes 3 cover variations of the book, the option to get them CGC graded, a poster, some T-shirts, etc., has reached $1.265 million. That includes the sale of 17,593 books sold. All of that is in a little over 48 hours, and during that time, the website was overloaded/crashed/offline for about 20 hours.

Last year, Eric July made history with the launch of his comic, Isom #1, which not only made over $3.7 million in sales with more pre-orders than most Marvel and DC Comics sell, but the campaign also drew media attention from the likes of Glenn Beck and Fox News.

Well, the inclusion of the likes of Beck and Fox News are enough to explain why the Left can't stand Eric. (He is a black man who doesn't agree with everything the Left says he has to agree with. In other words, he's a heretic, and has been banished from the cult.)

When it was announced earlier in the month that legendary comic writer Chuck Dixon would be joining the Rippaverse for a team book called Alphacore, fans also rejoiced at the prospect of new superhero stories from a man long blacklisted by mainstream companies.

Chuck Dixon, for those of you who don't know, wrote for DC comics for years, mostly on the Batman series. He was the person who introduced the character of Bane. He had the nerve to express some "classical liberal" views, and so he was outlawed. I'm glad that he is, maybe, finding a new home at the Rippaverse.

This is the animated trailer for ISOM #2. You can see that maybe some animated feature is in the future, once the first story arc is complete. You can find the ISOM #2 at Rippaverse.com

Marvel and DC are dying because they are concentrating on Woke indoctrination, and not storytelling. Characters that no one cares about, mostly because they can't be bothered to develop the characters, they are just cardboard cutouts: Strong Female Character, Evil White Man, Stupid White Man, Genius Black Woman Engineer, etc. (This applies to both the movies and the comics.)

The End of DC Comics

How about some rage on a Sunday afternoon.

Razorfist, the Rageaholic, has a few things to say about how DC Comics has been trying to destroy themselves via bad decisions for decades, but having doubled down since 2005 or so.

DC. Is. Dying! And it's obvious even to the unconnected comic fan. Hell, even a once-over of their Wikipedia page confirms the last seven major stories in the companies recent history are an interminable procession of brutally bad news.

And the fact that they really, really couldn't get in on the Superhero movie trend - which is also dying. For every success, like Wonder Woman, they greenlit multiple projects like Wonder Woman 1984.

Take Joker as an example. The studio desperatly tried to prevent that movie from being made. As a result it had a production budget of $55 million. That is about 33% of the budget for Batman Begins. While Batman Begins made $359 million worldwide, Joker made over a billion dollars. And though not as bad as today, there was inflation between 2005 and 2019.

And they seem bound and determined not to make any money with Superman. James Gunn will make money, since he will be directing. He will get paid. I'm not sure DC/Warner Bros will.

This is Razorfist's video Comic Crash II: The DC Death Spiral

The Woke Disaster that is DC Comics

Because Politics Is downstream of Culture. And the right abandoned all aspects of the culture to the Left.

Gabe Eltaeb is a comics color artist. He paints the colors on the black-and-white drawings that others do. (He is probably also an illustrator, but that is why I know him.) He left DC Comics because the comics got to the point where they were so woke that he couldn't ignore the message that DC was pushing. Members of his father's family were killed by the socialist regime in Libya, and he couldn't work on projects that said America and capitalism are bad.

In this interview (it's a bit over half an hour) Gabe Eltaeb repeats one of my favorite sayings. "Politics is downstream of culture." He goes on to elaborate how the Right/conservatives made a tremendous mistake when they abandoned the arts (and that includes - but isn't limited to - comics, movies and music) to the Left. That is at least part of the reason we have the disaster that we do.

This is the Babylon Bee video: Leaving DC Comics Over Wokeness | A Bee Interview With Gabe Eltaeb. There is also an article about what Eltaeb had to say about DC when ISOM#1 and The Rippaverse (which he worked on) was launching in July of this year below the video.

Here's an article from July of this year that covers some similar ground. From Bounding Into Comics: Rippaverse Colorist Gabe Eltaeb Thanks Superman: Son of Kal-El Writer Tom Taylor For Being “A Phony And A Racist SJW” And Inspiring Him To Leave DC Comics.

As the Rippaverse campaign began to take off at record speeds, Eltaeb later returned to Twitter to give thanks to Taylor, for whom he colored scripts on the aforementioned Superman: Son of Kal-El immediately prior to his exit from DC Comics, writing, “I’d like to thank #tomtaylor for being a phony, and a racist SJW. If it wasn’t for his bad writing and insulting take on Superman, I might have stayed at @DCComics”.

That project, Superman: Son of Kal-El is (was?) the bisexual son of Clark Kent, with the gay kiss that got canceled before it was half through the first story-line. DC will keep it alive for a special run of 6 or 8 issues, because the Woke (as we've seen at Disney) have no trouble pissing other people's money away if it lets them push what The Critical Drinker calls The Message™.

PayPal Is Trying to Screw Eric July

Eric July has created what looks to be an incredibly successful graphic novel. He has sold about $3.2 million (or more) worth of books. About $1.2 million was through PayPal. PayPal hasn't turned the money over to Eric July. Why? Apparently they aren't being too clear about that.

This is the Eric July video PayPal Update | Suits involved? | What is owed... WILL be paid

He has some information on the comic on his YouTube channel, but you can find more info at Rippaverse.

Avery Silman is a common rancher, but that wasn’t always the case. After obtaining some unique abilities, Avery spent a brief stint being a hero under the moniker Isom in the city of Florepark, Texas. Realizing that it wasn’t for him, he walked away from this life. But after responding to a call from his sister, some violent altercations ensue and has Avery reconsidering his approach. What happened? Grab Isom #1 to find out!

Marvel Finally Shows Its True Colors as Racists

Marvel, and their defenders on the Left, will tell you that they are only trying to make comics "inclusive." In reality a lot of them are just full of stereotypes. But it is for your own good, so the Left doubles down on ANY criticism, as "You are racist/homophobic/whatever" and go on about their day. Or when confronted by someone like Eric July, they tell him that he is mistaken.

But now they are finally being called out for promoting racism, because one of their newest books is full - and it appears to be completely full - of the worst stereotypes of black communities.

Mainstream comic pros are so focused on spitefully angering fans and impressing their fellow ideologues that their efforts backfire. Marvel gets called out for 'What If Miles Morales was Thor?' perpetuating "harmful" stereotypes of black people. [Eric July on Twitter.]

The more I think about this, the more incredibly stupid it is. One guy is apologizing, and promising to donate his salary to charity. But someone approved his concept. Someone got it ready for publication. Someone was working on promotion, at least I assume so. Before the images were leaked. The entire corporation must be tone deaf on the issue of race.

This is the YoungRippa59 (Eric July) video: When you’re right… YOU’RE RIGHT. I love the "It's very... Racey" thumbnail.

Eric July's point is that Miles Morales was always a token, whether as Spider-Man, or Thor, or whoever. It is just that the Left never bothered to read any of the books he was part of. But watch his video; it's 10 minutes, so grab a coffee, or your beverage of choice.

And if Marvel wants to make comics (or movies) more inclusive, why don't they come up with some new characters? So yes, the characters from the 1950s are overwhelmingly white. Why don't they hire a writer to create some new characters? Is there a lack of creativity? (How many characters did Stan Lee create? You can't create 3?)
