Minnesota's Democrat Governor Pardons Monster

Trump Derangement Syndrome Minnesota's Democrat Governor Tim Walz pardons illegal migrant PEDOPHILE who raped girl aged 10 to stop the predator from being deported | Daily Mail Online

Minnesota Democrats (all Democrats?) love these monsters more than they love Justice.

Vang admitted to repeatedly sexually abusing the child for four years when he pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal sexual conduct in 2006, and at the time he justified his actions by claiming it is a 'cultural thing' to 'marry and have sex with girls as young as 12.'

But he was due to be deported, and Democrats hate that, at least when a Republican is in the White House.

Hat tip to Clayton Cramer: Remember What Party Hates Trump More Than Child Rapers

This is the party that with no evidence claims Trump is a pedophile but helps keep a guy who makes excuses for raping a 10-year-old in the U.S You also notice that justifying raping a child got him no jail time in 2006.

No jail time. I miss living in a civilized society that took the concept of Justice seriously.

Minnesota Gun Permit Applications Spike

KAAL TV brings us a story from the deep blue state. Gun permit applications spike by 76% in January compared to the same time last year - ABC 6 News

Minnesota apparently has a "permit to purchase" a firearm. Though that may just be Minneapolis. This seems wrong on so many levels, but that is Progressive thinking. (The bad guys are not asking for permission to acquire a firearm.)

State data from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehensions reveals that 8,240 permit applications were submitted in January, a significant increase from 4,734 during the same month last year. This trend is also evident in Olmsted County.

Concealed Carry permits are also on the rise, as is interest in training courses. (Hat tip to INTERNED in Northfield!!!)

What's Worse than Minnesota Day Care With No Kids? Day Care Where They Kill Kids

What happened to this country, that it is populated by monsters? Oh yeah, Progressive Politics. Minnesota day care worker accused of fatally suffocating baby days before his first birthday 'to seek attention' | New York Post

A deranged day care worker in Minnesota with a history of making a spectacle of herself suffocated an infant to death mere days before his birthday in a desperate attempt to attract “attention,” police said.

Theah Loudemia Russell, 18, allegedly confessed to “intentionally suffocating” two children at the since-shuttered Rocking Horse Ranch day care in Savage, Minn. last fall, Savage Police Chief Brady Juell said at a press conference Wednesday.

Minnesota, being a dutifully Blue State, probably has no death penalty.

I miss living in a civilized society. Hat tip to Sean Fitzgerald (Actual Justice Warrior) on X. And yes, I stole the title to this post from Sean

When a Cop Shot Justine Ruszczyk Damond the Left Ignored It

It didn't fit the narrative. When Mohammed Shot Justine | Frontpage Mag

When Somalia-born Minneapolis cop killed the woman who called 911.

People, the Left anyway, would like to forget. It was in 2017, long enough ago that the population can't be bothered to remember.

The Australian woman, soon to be married, called 911 to report a sexual assault in a nearby alley. Officer Noor claimed he saw a blond woman in a pink shirt raise her arm and bang on the car, so he fired through the window to protect the life of his partner Matthew Harrity. There was no body-cam footage and Noor refused to speak with Minnesota’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehensions (BCA).

Minnesota Fraud Was NOT Incompetence

Fraud on a massive scale is what the Left wants. Bombshell: Minnesota Welfare Administrators Made 'Systemic Effort' to Doctor and Even Fake Official Documents to Give out Massive 'Grants'

Minnesota has gone from the Land of 10,000 Lakes to the Land of 10,000 scams.

Did anyone really think that the fraud took place in Minnesota because bureaucrats were outsmarted? No. In at least some of the fraud, the bureaucrats led the way.

It’s important to note that this is a different animal entirely from the “day care” scandal based largely in the state’s Somali immigrant community that is making headlines. This is in the Behavioral Health Administration, which is supposed to be focused on treating mental health and addictions, according to KARE-TV in Minneapolis.

Not only were public dollars showered on groups without adequate safeguards against corruption, according to KARE, the audit found that Behavioral Health Administration staffers had engaged in a “systemic effort” to cover their tracks by doctoring or even faking documentation that was supposed to make sure public money was well spent.

There is more. Hat tip to MaddMedic at Freedom Is Just Another Word…

Just keeps getting better and better in Minnesota!!!

Probably not limited to Minnesota.

Hilton Franchise Owner Lied About DHS Policy

But then they weren't going to admit that they hate law and order. CEO saves Hilton - Don Surber

ICE and DHS are headed to (or already in) Minnesota. The Hilton in one of the impacted areas canceled all of their reservations, because reasons.

The franchise owner said, “We are in touch with the impacted guests to ensure they are accommodated. We do not discriminate against any individuals or agencies and apologize to those impacted. We are committed to welcoming all guests and operating in accordance with brand standards, applicable laws, and our role as a professional hospitality provider.”

But a few hours later, rebel journalist Nick Sortor went to the hotel in question and found the franchisee lied.

Click thru for the details on the lie.

Nassetta [CEO of Hilton] wasn’t pleased. Politicians lie all the time. In business, you get to lie only once. The CEO fired the franchisee. The company’s stock popped back up.

Go read the whole thing. The first section about how conservatives don't go to protests, they just vote with their wallets is very good.

I know this is a day or two behind the news... so am I. (See this post) There were photos on social media of the Hilton sign being removed from in front of the hotel in question.

Tim Walz Abandons Governor’s Race

In the least-surprising news of the past month... Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz Abandons Re-election Bid, and Amy Klobuchar May Run Instead - The New York Times

Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota said on Monday that he was abandoning his bid for re-election to a third term. And Senator Amy Klobuchar, a fellow Democrat, is considering seeking the office, two people briefed on conversations between the two politicians said.

Did he ever give the "I am not a crook," speech?

Mr. Walz’s decision jolts a race that had drawn an unusually large and strong slate of Republican candidates, including the speaker of the Minnesota House, Lisa Demuth, and Mike Lindell, the chief executive of MyPillow and an ally of President Trump. Republicans have not won a statewide race in Minnesota since 2006.

Is The Mainstream Media Hoping Nick Shirley Gets Killed?

He is doing what the MSM refuses to do. Namely, investigative journalism. Reporter launches thinly veiled threat against journalist Nick Shirley who exposed Somali daycare fraud * WorldNetDaily * by Harold Hutchison, Daily Caller News Foundation

Politico senior legal affairs reporter Josh Gerstein claimed in a Monday post on X that citizen journalists investigating Somali scammers could be shot under "stand your ground" laws, which some commenters viewed as a threat.

Well that proves 2 things. One is that Political senior legal affairs reporter has absolutely no clue what "Stand Your Ground" laws actually say, and the other is that he's a no-class hack.

Minnesota is not a "stand your ground" state, according to the United States Concealed Carry Association, but instead has imposed a "duty to retreat" before using force.

OK, 3 things. Gerstein also has shown his complete lack of ability to do a simple web search on Stand Your Ground laws.

The Minnesota Judges Who Side With Somali Fraud

Are we shocked? Liberals don't believe in Law and Order. They believe in identity politics and social justice, which has nothing to do with real Justice. Come meet the Minnesota judges who have dismissed and overturned recent Somali fraud cases | Not the Bee

Meet three AWFL (Affluent, white, female, liberal) Minnesota judges who are making headlines for the most predictable reasons imaginable.

These ladies have recently dismissed cases against Somali fraudsters in Minnesota, even overturning jury verdicts, allowing the immigrants stealing millions from Americans and Minnesotans to walk free.

Is the Media Biased in Favor of Democrats?

Since the Mainstream Media seems to be more interested in proving there is nothing really, to the Minnesota fraud, than reporting on it, alternative forms of reporting have to fill the gap. Pulitzer Committee Furious After Guy With Camera Does Journalism By Leaving His House

Minnesota’s latest integrity initiative exploded into the open this week when a Vice Presidential thumbs up for a YouTube exposé replaced the Pulitzer Prize as America’s gold standard for journalism, sources have confirmed.

As the Minnesota Scandal continues to unravel, several Minnesota residents like Nick Shirley have gone out to report what’s really going on, since local media and their local and state government have spent so much time trying to cover it up.

$9 Billion (or More) Fraud in Minnesota Government Programs

Is anyone shocked? US Attorney's Office: 'Half or more' of $18B billed through state programs tied to fraud - KSTP 5 Eyewitness News

As the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced a new batch of charges related to suspected fraudulent billing in Minnesota’s government services, officials painted a dire portrait of just how extensive the problem might be.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson on Thursday said the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) pulled claims for 14 programs identified by Minnesota officials as being particularly vulnerable to fraud and found $18 billion in Medicaid billing since 2018.

While not all of those payments were illegitimate, Thompson estimated “half or more” of the $18 billion was received through fraudulent means, though he said prosecutors are still working to find the exact number.

I would love to say that this was because it is a Blue State, but all government is up to no good. Minnesota is just a particularly bad example.

I really don't expect much to come from this, unless the people of Minnesota wake up and take control of their government, and they seem to be more focused on Orange Man Bad than how their tax dollars are spent.

Another Failure of the Victim-Selection Process

Maybe he thought a Blue State would be safe for this kind of thing. Man shot and killed after kicking door in at home in Redby, Minnesota - KVRR Local News

Red Lake Department of Public Safety says dispatch got a call Wednesday from a homeowner in Redby saying that a man had kicked the door in.

Redby, Minnesota is roughly a 250 mile drive north of Minneapolis. It may call its Police Department, the Department of Public Safety, but it is far from the blue-state center of Minneapolis.

After he kicked in the door, the homeowner shot him. He died at the scene.

Not sure why, but the FBI is aiding in the investigation along with Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Blue states. Why can't they just call it the State Police? I guess that doesn't sound Progressive, or something.

Self-defense is a human right.

Vance Boelter, Amy Klobuchar, and Tim Walz

This story was originally on the Star Tribune website, but I could not get that page to display. The link is below. Letter to FBI from shooting suspect made wild claims about Klobuchar and Walz, sources say

I will start with the hat tip, or part of it. Matt Margolis at PJ Media notes "Now We Know Why the Minnesota Assassin Story Disappeared Overnight."

But back to the article above.

In a rambling, conspiratorial letter addressed to the FBI, alleged assassin Vance Boelter claimed Gov. Tim Walz instructed him to kill U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar so that Walz could run for the U.S. Senate, according to two people familiar with the contents of the letter.

I predict that the FBI, or at least the office in Minnesota, will do everything to claim that they cannot release this letter because of an ongoing investigation. I no longer have faith in Kash Patel to overrule them.

Federal prosecutors allege the letter was left behind in a Buick that Boelter deserted near his home in Green Isle, Minn. It also allegedly contained Boelter’s confession that he carried out the shootings that killed state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and injured Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette.

There is more, and it is interesting, but it is all contributed to those "sources familiar with the letter."

Now back to Now We Know Why the Minnesota Assassin Story Disappeared Overnight.

Have you wondered why the story of the Minnesota assassin Vance Boelter has suddenly vanished from the news? Now we have a pretty good idea why.

The media was quick to pile on Boelter as MAGA, Religious, Conservative, etc.

In short, Boelter is just a wacko. His letter is a testament to his fractured mind, not a manifesto of political grievance. The media’s rush to blame conservatives and the governor’s passive complicity in allowing false narratives to spread are failures that demand scrutiny. The truth matters, and in this case, it exposes a grotesque distortion of reality by those eager to score political points amid a horrific crime.

Vance Boelter Minnesota Assassin

The Other McCain has some info on Vance Boelter. Minnesota Assassin Captured: Exactly Why Did Vance Boelter Go Crazy?

Several people are making statements, but not much supporting evidence as to motive. It is of course early days, but this is a summary of most of what we know.

What evidence is there that “the way we talk” about politics had any influence on Vance Boelter? And exactly what kind of “misinformation and conspiracy theories” was the prosecutor referring to?

Having spent most of the day Saturday trying to figure out what motivated Vance Boelter, I am perplexed by [Hennepin County prosecutor Mary] Moriary’s seeming certainty that political rhetoric was to blame for his crimes.

Drinking Can Be Hazardous To Your Health

Or maybe it was something stronger. Police say Breckenridge man shot Thanksgiving morning was impaired; thought he was at his own home | The Mighty 790 KFGO

How "impaired" do you need to be to not know your own home from another? Or maybe this is the result of HOAs demanding that all homes in a neighborhood are identical.

Breckenridge, Minnesota is about 200 miles northwest of Minneapolis.

25-year-old Michael Mccall was trying to use his own keys to open the door. The homeowner, Mark Danford, heard the noise and grabbed his handgun. He unlocked the door, and Mccall immediately opened the door. Danford fired 3 rounds, hitting Mccall twice.

He had to be airlifted to a trauma center, but he is expected to survive.

My guess is that no one will face charges, but that is only a guess at this point. You are never really sure how prosecutors in a blue state will react to self-defense.

Minnesota Democrat Says Women Are Too Stupid for Guns

It would be bad enough if some ancient man said this, but a woman actually said this. Granted, she was quoting from any number of gun-control screeds. It comes down to the same thing. Women are too stupid to have guns.

And the Democrats claim to be the party that supports women.

This Is a Hate Crime, Not a "Bullying Incident"

The school's lack of response is most disturbing. Daily Mail Online: Another disturbing bullying incident sees at least two boys beat up smaller student in corridor of Minneapolis school.

The video at Daily Mail is blurred. You can see the video on X/Twitter care of @CrimeWatchMpls.

This is Eagle Ridge Middle School in Savage, MN.
We're told this assault on a student by several others took place on Friday.

Savage, Minnesota is about 15 miles southwest of downtown Minneapolis.

The school district, citing privacy, won't say what punishment was handed down; they won't even speak in general terms. There is speculation that the punishment is minimal.

What is clear is that the school administrators don't consider this to be a crime, let alone a hate crime.

DailyMail.com reached out to the Savage Police Department and Eagle Ridge Middle School for comment.

The Savage Police Department confirmed that they did not receive any report of the incident that took place.

If the school reports it, then it becomes a part of the public record. Statistics on hate crimes don't look good for bureaucrats. Especially if the stats indicate that they are taking no action to combat the hate crimes.

Because of the race of the perpetrators and the victim, this will not be a national story. It doesn't aid the narrative IYKWIMAITYD.

I'm going to miss civilization when it's gone.

Self-defense Is Legal in Minnesota

You can never be sure in blue states. Prosecutors cite self defense, won't charge man in fatal shooting this week in St. Paul

Ramsey County Attorney's Office said in a statement late Friday afternoon that "we declined to file charges in this incident due to facts uncovered in the police investigation that strongly support a self-defense and defense-of-others claim by the person who fired the fatal shot."

The office did not elaborate on the specifics of the claim by the man, whom police identified as the shooter. The Star Tribune is not naming the man, because he's no longer subject to being charged.

The whole story was handled fairly well for the paper of record in a Blue City.

$250 Million Dollar Scam Enabled by Fear of Being Called Names

Seems like I've heard this story before. More on that later, but first from The Other McCain: The $250,000,000 Scandal That’s Wrecking Minnesota Democrats

A group of non-profits, aided by government lackeys who turned a blind eye, stole $250 million from a COVID program that was supposed to feed poor kids. Instead of feeding children, they made themselves rich.

In defending themselves against accusations of administrative negligence, Walz and the state department of education say they tried to cut off payment to Feeding Our Future, but that the non-profit responded with a lawsuit falsely claiming racial discrimination.

Wait a minute — Democrats admitting that false cries of “racism” are used to exploit the system? Wow, it’s a new day in America.

It was a gift to the Somali community in Minnesota from the Democrats running the state to ensure that they kept getting the votes from that community.

“Let’s give millions of dollars in taxpayer money to Somalis” — that’s what this “child nutrition” program was really about, and which party do you think this political payola was meant to benefit? The problem was that the corruption was just too blatant, what with the “luxury cars, houses, jewelry, and coastal resort property,” to say nothing of the “ornamental cart laden with gold,” and at some point somebody at Minnesota’s department of education got worried about it. Eventually, they tipped the feds to their concerns and tried to halt the payments to Aimee Bock’s organization, but when this was answered by a racial discrimination lawsuit, they restarted the payments, and the “child nutrition” bonanza continued right up until the feds raided Bock.

Now the governor's race in Minnesota is close, but I don't expect the Republican to win, because whatever else the people of Minnesota want, they want, above all else, for the world to know that they are Progressive. And you don't signal your Progressive Credentials in Minnesota by voting for the Republicans.

There is more if you click thru, including a link to the DOJ webpage where a news release detailing the indictment is posted.

As for the "fear of being called racist," and what it does to law enforcement and politicians, you should look up the UK's 40 year history with grooming gangs. The cops ignored 100s of young girls being raped and trafficked because they didn't want to seem racist for investigating gangs of men who were predominantly Muslim. Law enforcement didn't enforce the law for fear of being called names. The future is stupid.

Minneapolis Homeowner Defends Herself

It seems that some of the media don't want to believe this homeowner. Woman says she fired warning shots before killing man who broke into her garage - KSTP.com Eyewitness News

Police investigators say dispatchers received two 911 calls after several shots were fired the night of Feb. 22. The first caller said they had heard four shots and someone yelling. The second call came from the shooter, who said a male had broken into the detached garage behind her home on the 3300 block of 25th Avenue South and that she had shot him when he reached into his pants.

The guy who got shot was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

This version of story is actually not too bad. The Star Tribune's early treatment, and the treatment by several other Minneapolis media outlets, of this incident makes it clear that they don't believe a word said by homeowners who defend themselves.

There is a Ring camera that may cover at least some of the incident. It has not been released, and the cops in Minneapolis are getting warrants to access that video.

I'm sure more will be known eventually. In the meantime, even in a Blue City like Minneapolis, self-defense is a human-right.
