That 15-year-old kid was the robber.

A 15-year-old was attempting to rob a man in his 20s, who has a concealed pistol license and was armed, when the teen was fatally shot, officials said.

Officers found the teen around four blocks from where they initially responded.

It is a hard lesson, but if you try to rob people, you might run into someone who is also armed.

[Police] arrived and found Jevon Miller, 19, with a gunshot wound to her head and a three-year-old with a gunshot wound on his neck, police said. Medics arrived and pronounced Miller dead. They took the boy to a hospital where he continues to receive care, investigators said.

Detectives said Brown and Miller were in a relationship and lived together in the home at the time of the shooting. According to a preliminary investigation, the couple had an argument that escalated until he produced a handgun and shot her and their son.

The gun-hating part of the Left will say that "if only, we could by magic, eliminate all guns from the world..." In which case he would either have stabbed them, or beaten them to death.

In a sane world this guy would never see freedom again for trying to kill a child, but this isn't a sane world, it is 21st Century America, where holding people accountable for their actions is mean.

Ector spoke with a few fellow firearm instructors and hatched a plan to train interested women about personal protection for free.

The first year he bought ammo with his own money. Only 50 women attended. To date, there have been 9,000 women introduced to shooting via Rick Ector's program.

This program was used as a model to start a similar series of training classes in Atlanta.

Davida Franklin was arrested in 2020 after police said she fatally stabbed her husband, Governor Franklin, during a domestic dispute on Nov. 30, 2020. She was charged with second-degree murder.

You see it was her fault for recognizing that she might need to defend herself, and so she armed herself. Because it would be better - according to the DA - if she was unarmed, and therefore vulnerable to attack. I mean, be fair. If you allow people to take individual action, you might actually see individual responsibility. And the Left can't have that.

Prosecutors argued Davida Franklin created an environment where there was a high risk of death because she brought a knife into the situation despite her husband not being armed, James said.

Police believe the 35-year-old was trying to break into the home through a window when one of two people inside the home shot and killed him.

The media seems a bit confused to me, but then the police have not released many details.

He Ran From Cops Right Into an Armed Homeowner

Police were trying to pull over the car Thursday night after a hit-and-run but the 24-year-old refused to stop and led police on a slow-speed chase. It eventually ended on a homeowner's porch on Cherrylawn near Santa Clara in Detroit when he got out and started running.

It was just after 11 p.m. when police said 24-year-old ran onto the porch of a 42-year-old woman and she shot him.

Police picked him up and took him to a local hospital.

Neighbors were not shocked, and basically said, "You have to protect your family."

He opened fire on people in a neighborhood near a bus stop. He killed 3 and injured one. Then a neighbor stepped up.

The people who lost their lives are on the mind of neighbors on Pennington, where the gunman shot and tried to kill a fourth victim, but neighbors fought back. Detroit Police describe the man as an 80-year-old. He and his dog were shot but survived.

“He saw my weapon and he went from predator to prey. He had that look of shock,” said a neighbor who grabbed his gun and shot back, to protect his elderly neighbor.

“The neighbor, he fired a shot and the guy turned around and took off. He scattered like a jack rabbit,” said Wallace Pleasant, who witnessed it.

They don't say how long this took, but it was probably a couple of minutes or so. What is 911 response time in Detroit? I know it is better than it was, but how many people would have died if "call 911 and wait for help" was the ONLY option?

A Detroit homeowner shot and killed a man who he says broke a window and pulled out a gun while raging outside his home early Tuesday morning.

He claimed someone in the home owed him money. He was wrong, of course, but he wouldn't listen to reason.

While I think that he made a few errors, I agree with the cops; this is a case of self-defense. Of course it is not up to me or the cops; the DA will determine if there are any charges.

Police said a 60-year-old entered his house and encountered an unidentified man who broke into his home. The homeowner fired a shot, fatally wounding the suspect, police said.

As I said the homeowner was "detained" for the investigation.

A 16-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl are being charged as adults in the robbery and fatal stabbing of an Uber driver in Detroit. [SNIP]

Police found Timothy Perkins, 60, of Southfield, in a southwest Detroit alley on Jan. 21. He had been beaten with a hammer and suffered multiple stab wounds to his body. He later died at a hospital.

Finally from Louisiana... Louisiana girl, 15, stabbed to death; 4 younger girls arrested. It is the 3rd killing in six months involving children just in one parish.

The main instigator is a 13-year-old; the other three are 12, 13, and 14 years old.

"This is not something we can police ourselves out of," Sheriff Mancuso said. "This is a parenting issue. I'm asking you tonight for our parents to take control."

Parents actually parenting? What a concept. (With 4 kids involved, I'm sure someone will be along to say, "She's a good girl!")

I could go on, of course, but I am already depressed. Civilizations ebb and flow, and it has been a long time since I thought ours was going anywhere but down the tubes.

Because why not kill someone for a few bucks, or over a social media post? Life means nothing. Your life means nothing.

According to police, the home invasion suspect was killed around 7 p.m. [Monday] by a 36-year-old resident of the home after entering it without permission.

The suspect was armed with a long gun when breaking into the home, police say.

The homeowner was still in custody Tuesday afternoon, becuase the Authorities HATE self-defense.
