Or maybe it was something stronger. Police say Breckenridge man shot Thanksgiving morning was impaired; thought he was at his own home | The Mighty 790 KFGO
How "impaired" do you need to be to not know your own home from another? Or maybe this is the result of HOAs demanding that all homes in a neighborhood are identical.
Breckenridge, Minnesota is about 200 miles northwest of Minneapolis.
25-year-old Michael Mccall was trying to use his own keys to open the door. The homeowner, Mark Danford, heard the noise and grabbed his handgun. He unlocked the door, and Mccall immediately opened the door. Danford fired 3 rounds, hitting Mccall twice.
He had to be airlifted to a trauma center, but he is expected to survive.
My guess is that no one will face charges, but that is only a guess at this point. You are never really sure how prosecutors in a blue state will react to self-defense.
