How the Entertainment Industry Morphed into Stalinist Oppressors

As seen from the inside. Show Business, Trump Derangement, and COVID-19.

Clifton Duncan trained as an actor, and he apparently had quite the career started. While he could keep his head down and his opinions to himself for a while, eventually he was pushed too far.

I then recognized what, sadly, many of my colleagues in the performing arts did not, which was that to most people, supporting the Orange Man had less to do with a desire for a White ethno-state, or with any great love for his personality, and more to do with practical, mundane matters such as prices, markets, jobs and taxes, and each of those major issues impact the sub-issues within it, from schooling to border security to law enforcement to military spending to social welfare, and beyond.

The old adage is true: “it’s the economy, stupid”.

The linked article covers some of his trials, and is worth a look. I have been following his podcasts so I know a little more of his story than what is presented at that link above, but it is a good intro to how, as Mr. Duncan puts it, the Artists stopped being Liberal, and became oppressive.

The vaccine mandates are still in place for actors, to choose one example that is not random. Show current status and however many boosters Big Pharma the government says you need. I think the mask mandates were still in place until just recently, though they may still be in place as well, because entertainment has become about conforming to the narrative.

This is what he believes the entertainment industry thinks of him.

I would be the transphobic anti-vax cis-gendered "Right wing" toxic male who is a white supremacist in black-face.

I guarantee that is how these people see me now.

That was part of a discussion in which it was pointed out that the mandates were finally being relaxed. Or rather they are set to be reduced, not eliminated.

Here's a bit on those mandates/protocols from early March: Tim Robbins backs Woody Harrelson’s call to end Covid protocols on set.

Asked what was absurd about the measures, Harrelson responded: “The fact that they’re still going on!

“I don’t think that anybody should have the right to demand that you’re forced to do the testing, forced to wear the mask and forced to get vaccinated three years on,” he added. “I’m just like, let’s be done with this nonsense. It’s not fair to the crews. I don’t have to wear the mask. Why should they? Why should they have to be vaccinated? How’s that not up to the individual? I shouldn’t be talking about this [expletive].”

In a world were you must conform or be destroyed, Clifton Duncan didn't conform. He stepped outside of the bounds dictated for him. I've only seen a few videos he produced, but it is a shame, because he is a wonderful actor.

If you have the time, this a speech he gave at the Mises Institute, in which he lays out all of his objections to the medical coersion that went on the past few years. It is a powerful speech. The speech is about 17 minutes, and then about the same amount of time for question and answers.
