Without Consequences Behavior Will Not Change

And in more and more cities there are no consequences for bad behavior. Suspect who caught a break from DA Alvin Bragg, held on bail in sanitation worker attack

DA Alvin Bragg gave this guy a break. He went out and committed assault.

A serial suspect who saw his felony robbery charge downgraded by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office last month was finally ordered held on bail Thursday after allegedly punching a city sanitation worker.

Cristian Hall, 30, was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on charges of second-degree assault and third-degree assault for Wednesday’s unprovoked, sucker-punch attack in Chelsea.

Soft-on-crime Bragg is not making the city safer, but then his goal was not to make the city safer. His goal was to destroy law and order, in the name of Social Justice™ of course. Social Justice is not the same as real Justice.

So the bad guy is being held on bail, but not a lot of bail. My guess is that he will get out. They won't keep him incarcerated until after he kills someone. Maybe not even then, because keeping violent offenders in jail is unfair.
