High Enough

I ran across this album because Rhett Shull, a YouTube-creator and guitar player I follow, was involved in its recording. And while country isn't usually my thing, this doesn't sound like traditional country to me. The album has a blend of blues, folk and rock. Maybe that is where country is today. Whatever the reason, I quite like it. Today's song is heavy on the blues/rock.

Rhett has a great guitar solo that sounds more like Rock & Roll to me, than country. It starts at about 2 minutes and 55 seconds in. Here is what RedGuitarMusic.com had to say:

‘High Enough’ is simply stunning, oozing bluesy soulfulness and sheer power it benefits greatly, from a perfectly pitched Rhett Shull solo that starts slowly before exploding into life, ultimately reaching a crescendo that's perfectly matched by Guthrie’s impressive vocal.

I think you will enjoy it. In addition to YouTube, the album is available on Spotify, and probably other places as well.

This song is "High Enough" by Noah Guthrie from his January 2022 album Blue Wall.
