What Happens When You Don't Enforce the Law?

You get more crime. 55 homicides in Portland in 2020 -- the most in 26 years -- involved victims from 8 months old to 71

The Authorities are blaming everything except for the policies of the government to ignore crime.

Police here attribute the jump to isolation caused by the pandemic, staffing shortages partly caused by shifting officers to respond to mass racial justice protests, dozens of retirements and the absence of the Gun Violence Reduction Team, disbanded to address criticism that it disproportionately focused on Black people.

The future is stupid.
