So last night I went to see Herb Alpert play for a sold-out house at the historic Tennessee Theater downtown. The theater is about to turn 98, Alpert will be turning 92. Both appear to be in fine shape.

Perhaps the headline is somewhat misleading because basically anywhere in Philadelphia is horrible, but 417 Chew Avenue is particularly bad, even by Philadelphia standards. The disappearances of at least five women — at least two of whom were murdered, police believe — are connected to the house.
