We are on the third weekend of the latest Disney Star Wars movie. And things are worse than expected, and they were expected to be low.
The movie had a 70% drop in the 2nd weekend from the first weekend. Friday, the 3rd Friday of its theatrical run, was down 62% over the second weekend.
On Friday the box office for a Star Wars movie fell behind The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act, which is basically the finale of an Australian animated web series, which I had never heard of.

"It's not show friends," used to be a saying in Hollywood; today it doesn't seem like they want to make money.
This is Valliant Renegade's video Disney Star Wars Faces HUGE $125M Mando & Grogu LOSS
I don't even know at this point if Mandalorian and Grou can even get to 330 or 340 million. That's how dire this is. The international box office for this film hasn't been particularly overwhelming. In fact, it's been more underwhelming even than the domestic box office. And that's going to put this movie on pace to lose about $125 million, if not more.
That number is based on the stated production budget for the movie, but Disney is known for lying about production budgets. If they do major production in England, they have to file tax documents that will eventually reveal all of the financial details. I have no idea where this film was produced.
The video is 12 minutes.
