An Electric Fire Truck The Uses Too Much Diesel

Canberra, Australia, has an electric fire truck. It is actually a hybrid, but they don't advertise that. To be fair, you don't want your electric fire truck to fail on the way to the fire.

It is apparently using too much diesel. And you could purchase 2 regular firetrucks, for the same price. That is before the reliability issues.

This is the quote that I love.

The Canberra Liberals' emergency services spokeswoman, Deborah Morris, who requested the documents, said everything about the electric firetruck had been a failure.

"It was never properly tested in Australian conditions. It has spent more time off the road than on it. It has serious safety flaws that put firefighters and their lifesaving work at risk. And it burns more fuel than promised," she said.

That quote is from the Canberra Times. Electric firetruck's fuel consumption was expected to be 'significantly lower': report

Canberra, is the capital of Australia. Like our federal capital, it is located in a district that is not part of any of the other states, in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Australia, which is about 280 kilometer drive south of Sydney, and it is about 100 kilometers west of the east coast.

This is the MGUY Australia video WTF?!! ELECTRIC fire truck "uses too much DIESEL" đŸ€Ł

I mean, it's hilarious, isn't it? A battery electric vehicle that's using too much diesel. Only in the mad world of net zero insanity could such a sentence be written.

The video is 14 minutes long.
