The latest crime against cinema has been released. "You know what the world needs? A Woke look at The Bride of Frankenstein," said no one, ever. Well, except for Maggie Gyllenhaal.
The craziest thing about this whole thing, is that some studio agreed to invest between $80 million and $90 million in a Nepo Baby's fan fiction. That is before marketing. It made about $13 million in the first weekend globally. It will lose most of that money.

As Mauler says in the video, this would be fine if it was an arthouse film, made for 10 or 20 million dollars. It isn't. The only explanation at this point is that Hollywood hates money.
