Dr. John was born on 20 November 1941 in New Orleans. Well he was officially Malcolm John Rebennack Jr. People who love music knew him as Dr. John. He passed away in 2019 at the age of 77.
The sad thing is that so many people have forgotten his contributions to music. Not just his New Orleans Jazz, but his work with The Wrecking Crew.
