It seems the Trump Administration's claim that the BBC is engaging in Fake News isn't limited to politics. BBC to review bias in climate change coverage
First, let's revisit the BBC and Trump.
[Michael Prescott, a former standards adviser,] wrote of his “despair at inaction” by executives over widespread evidence of skewed reporting.
His letter highlighted a Panorama documentary that spliced together different parts of a speech by Donald Trump and made it seem as though he had told supporters to go to the Capitol and “fight like hell” on the day of the 2021 riot.
The revelations led to the White House accusing the BBC of “purposeful dishonesty” on Friday night, saying it was a “Leftist propaganda machine”.
And then there is the Climate Hysteria.
Last year, a complaint was upheld when a BBC News article presented as fact the claim that “human-induced climate change made recent extreme heat in the US south-west, Mexico and Central America around 35 times more likely”.
In May 2022, Justin Rowlatt, the BBC’s climate editor, was found to have made misleading claims about extreme weather in a Panorama documentary.
There is more on the climate, as well as a review of bias around (or against) Israel. Click thru.
So, is the BBC a venerated news organization, or a left-wing propaganda outlet?

For at least the last 25 years, I've always known the BBC as the Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation.
