Goth grew out of 1970s Post Punk. Some of it I liked. Some... not so much.
The Cure had a few songs that did well, and today's song hit #1 on Billboard's Modern Rock chart, which covered Post Punk, Alternative Rock, and Goth.
This song is "Fascination Street" by The Cure from their 1989 album Disintegration, though the version we have today is the 1997 remix from their "best of" album Galore.
And yes, this is another song courtesy of WXRT's Saturday Morning Flashback. This past weekend they were revisiting music from 1989.
