Jay isn't alone of course; everyone is roasting this BS.

  1. I don't get the angst. A private enterprise launches paying passengers. The same as the air, pace belongs to whoever can get there. And they barely made it into space. I mean by the slimest of margins.
Why is anyone surprised at celebs acting as celebs?

Did this stunt impact legit space missions? Were any missions delegitimized because the bimbos rode into Class A airspace?
Knuckleheads being knuckleheads. Big whoop. Again, why the hue and cry?

    1. I'm tempted to say, "If I have to explain it to you..." in typical form... It's like the answer to the question, "Do these jeans make me look fat?"

The cringe has been turned up 11, and the fact they are taking themselves so incredibly seriously might have something to do with the reaction

    2. Blowing off Sally Ride's and Valentina Tereshkova's accomplishmens is just pissing in our cornflakes.

    3. What's so galling is these twats are acting all high and mighty for wearing jump suits and taking a ride that takes no real preparation other than getting a medical pass. They could just as easily paid for a number of vomit comet plane rides. They were cargo, yet they're talking smack and wanting to be treated as real astronauts.

Unlike the civilian missions launched on SpaceX's Dragon capsules where the civilians went through real astronaut training for a year and actually did real science and engineering.

Seriously, the space bimbo cadets did nothing more than hand over scads of cash and then were so self-involved they spent most of their time on their damned phones doing social media. They didn't even stare out the windows and watch the world below them. They could just as easily gone to Epcot and taken the space simulator ride.

    4. Unclezip, The complete ignorance of history is annoying but no longer surprising. It didn't happen on TikTok, so the current generation doesn't know about it.

Beans, the way they take themselves so seriously has me questioning whether there is hope for the current generation. Yet they couldn't change a spare tire on their car if their life depended on it.

  2. And since everyone (except for Beans and me) seems to be ignorant of history, and maybe especially anything related to Soviet history, here's a link that will explain:

June 16, 1963: First Woman in Space – Cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova
