Scotland Yard Puts Lives at Risk in Iran

Also Metropolitan Police, in London, can't be bothered to secure sensitive data. Metropolitan Police 'has put lives of Iranian dissidents at risk' after staff member posts personal details of three men online

A contractor who worked for the Metropolitan Police, published a photo of a police report on social media.

The file was allegedly photographed on a computer screen and shared on X last year. It contained the personal details of three men – Niyak Ghorbani, 38, Mahyar Tousi, 36, and Mark Birckbeck – who attended a pro-Palestine protest on November 30.

It would be MORE correct to say that Niyak Ghorbani, and Mark Birckbeck were attending the COUNTER-protest, and Mahyar Tousi was there as a journalist. I won't say that the Met is full of antisemitic, but they continually arrest one side, and ignore the other.

Shortly after the data breach, a member of Mr Ghorbani's family was detained in Iran and interrogated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). His brother's passport was also confiscated.

Speaking to the Mail, Mr Ghorbani, an exiled activist opposed to the IRGC, said: 'The Islamic Republic has been seeking my arrest and forced return to Iran for years. I have been repeatedly subject to death threats in the UK.

And if you think the profession of journalist offers any cover...

'The report accused me of "antagonising" the Palestinian protesters when in reality, my livestream report on my channel shows I was only reporting. The police's negligence has made me lose trust in the institution.'

Mr Tousi has previously received death threats. He added that his father – who lives in Tehran – has been forced to 'go into hiding even more' following the data breach.

Tousi TV, run by Mahyer Tousi, and with a few employees, manages to produce some of the best coverage of the "protests" in London. The BBC, GB News, and the rest have mostly ignored the entire thing. And especially the antics of the police.
