Professor Yamane Complicating Life for Academics

For a Liberal university professor (that's how he describes himself) I think he is making life difficult for the people who want to say that guns are bad and gun owners are delusional.

This is a long video, and it is an acadmeic seminar, well, it is his presentation. I would have loved to see the Q&A that followed the presentaion, but I believe I understand why he didn't publish that. Since it is an academic presentation, and the fact that it is just over half an hour in length, I'm not sure how many people will find it interesting, but I enjoyed while eating my lunch.

This presentation was given to the University of Connecticut ARMS (Advancing Research, Methods, and Scholarship in Gun Injury Prevention) Center. I haven't researched them much, or the studies they've produced, but their name seems to indicate that they are focused in one direction. Namely, that guns are bad, and gun owners are delusional.

This is Professor Yamane's video UConn ARMS Webinar: Complicating Risk & Rationality in Understanding Why People Own Guns (LoH #124)
