Disney and Kathleen Kennedy Have KILLED Star Wars

Back in the 1980s if you told people that this day would come, they would have laughed at you. RIP Star Wars: Entire Season Of 'Skeleton Crew' No Shows Nielsen Ratings | Cosmic Book News

Not one episode managed to chart on the Nielsen Ratings. No one watched the premiere. No one binge-watched when the finale came out. No one cares.

If this isn’t a clear indication that fans no longer care about Star Wars, I don’t know what is. Skeleton Crew actually isn’t all that bad of a series. It’s fun, and it’s light years better than The Acolyte. However, let’s be honest, Disney and Lucasfilm haven’t done a good job with Star Wars.

It doesn't matter if the show was the best Star Wars show ever. No one cares about Star Wars. Lesbian Space Witches, fires burning in the vacuum of space, fires burning a stone installation to the ground, and the rest of the stupidity that was The Acolyte killed whatever interest was left. And there wasn't much.

People were mad at Disney Star Wars when the sequel trilogy ended. Now they just don't care. Anger means they were still involved. It is hard to overcome apathy.

Disney has the reverse Midas Touch. Indiana Jones and the Insufferable Feminist was a disaster. They deep-sixed the Willow series because it was so bad; it no longer exists anywhere, unless the pirates have a copy. And then there is Marvel.
