Cops Behaving Badly - Australian Edition

Cops wouldn't LIE, would they? Not only do they lie about what happens, they STILL haven't figured out they are are ALWAYS on camera. (Some might call that stupid.) WATCH: Judge SCOLDS dishonest cops as freedom fighter wins case - Rebel News

This whole case is an instance of "How dare you not obey our authority with unquestioning obedience!" It stems from the lockdowns surrounding Australia's reaction to the Unspecified Virus of Unknown Origin, and protests about the same.

There is a video in which all this is described, click thru for that.

The presiding judge highlighted discrepancies between police statements and the actual events captured on body-worn cameras. Contrary to police claims, the footage revealed no aggressive behaviour from Patterson or his associates. Instead, it portrayed police initiating the altercation and employing excessive force.

If you watch the video they break down a couple of the explicit lies, together with the video of the incident, and contrast the video with the cops' description of what happened. In particular, the head of the unit doesn't look too good, and he lied his ass off about how the confrontation got started. Hint: He started it.

The main guy, and few of his cohort, had turned off their body cameras, but apparently not everyone got the "we're jack-booted thugs today" memo, because there is bodycam video from a couple of officers. And I think cellphone video as well.

In a scathing rebuke, the judge denounced the police's conduct as reckless and arbitrary, noting their failure to adhere to legal procedures. The ruling underscored the importance of upholding civil liberties and condemned any unwarranted use of force by law enforcement.

Civil legal action against the cops will be forthcoming.
