If you teach students to look at history from the Marxist perspective, it is predictable that they will develop a radical worldview, believing they have a duty to support those who claim to be victims of societal oppression.
As I became acquainted with how history was being taught — even in classrooms in rural Floyd County, Georgia — the pervasiveness of this Marxist influence was impossible to ignore.
