Arkansas Self-Defense

One person was taken to the hospital, another was arrested for tampering with evidence. Pocahontas Shooting Believed to be Self-Defense, Police Say - NEA Report

Officers detained a suspect at the scene for questioning and initiated interviews with witnesses. Based on preliminary findings, authorities are considering the shooting as an act of self-defense. The individual detained for questioning has since been released.

The guy who got shot was taken to a local hospital, and then transferred to another hospital. No condition info was available, but I assume he was transported to a trauma center.

There are more details, but I think it is clear that the cops believe that self-defense is legal in Arkansas. Charges are up to the DA in the case.
