People are armed for their own protection. Man shot, killed at McCalla home during reported break-in
McCalla, Alabama is about a 20 mile drive southwest of downtown Birmingham.
Deputies found a 33-year-old man who had been shot to death at the scene. According to the initial report the man broke into the home and got in a physical altercation with the homeowners. The man was then shot and killed.
Proving once again that Alabama has not morphed into New Jersey.
