He clearly was not stopping by to reminisce over the good old days. He was also in violation of a Protection from Abuse order.

After he was shot, he took himself to the hospital. He is facing charges that include criminal trespass, stalking and burglary.
So again, what do the anti-gun folks think she should have done? She got an order of protection. She called 911. 911 told her to shoot the bastard. They say that the police will protect you. But the police were nowhere near when this incident took place, and they have no duty to protect you, not even if you have a court order.
Self-defense is a human-right, and I think it will be hard to charge the woman for defending herself. That doesn't mean a determined leftist DA couldn't charge her, but they would look like a fool if they did.
