And reporters still don't know the difference between victims, and people who are shot in self-defense. Deadly Upstate shooting over the weekend ruled self defense
There was a party at a home, and everyone was drinking. The guy who got shot was asked to leave. He didn't leave.
Watters was asked by the homeowner to leave several times but refused. Outside, the argument continued when Watters assaulted the homeowner, who shot Watters in self-defense.
He was taken to a local hospital, but died from his injuries. The homeowner has not been charged.
As for the reporter, they called the guy who got legally shot in self-defense, the victim. But reporters... What do they know? (Not much apparently.)
Self-defense is a human-right, and it would seem to be your legal right in South Carolina.
