Self-defense May Be Taking Hold in Los Angeles

And reporters are still unclear on the Victim versus Perpetrator dynamic. Man arrested in fatal LA Metro stabbing acted in self-defense, DA says

Which is odd, really, given that LA is ground zero for the progressive rot taking over the Criminal Justice System in our cities.

According to a District Attorney's Office report, surveillance video from the train showing Tuesday afternoon's confrontation confirmed Carlos Carrillo-Martinez's contention that he acted in self-defense when he stabbed the victim, 27-year-old Jalil Sosa Illera.

Now the statement by the DA is more along the lines of, "We can't prove it wasn't self-defense, and we don't think we can win," rather than, "We believe the right of self-defense," but it is a step in the right direction.

And whatever the DA may think, self-defense is a human-right. (Hat tip to Keep and Bear Arms.)
