Maybe when it is safe. 61-year-old stabbed in head by screwdriver-wielding man on train at Columbus Circle
Hey, the NYPost is calling the guy a maniac. "Who am I to disagree?"
A 61-year-old straphanger was stabbed in the head by a screwdriver-wielding maniac in a random attack onboard a Manhattan subway Thursday night, police and law enforcement sources said.
He was stabbed twice: once in the head, and once in the face.
Random violence. Regular crime. And they think everyone should take public transit.
Columbus Circle is in Manhattan at the southwest corner of Central Park, a few short blocks from places like The Plaza hotel, Carnegie Hall, The Lincoln Center, The Metropolitan Opera House, etc. The Midtown neighborhood is the primary central business district of the city. Though I'm not sure any of that makes a difference on public transit.
A VP from the transit bureau was making statements about "delivering justice with consequences." I guess he hasn't been paying attention of Alvin Bragg and the changes coming out of the state capital.
