Because beating up your girlfriend is not a sign that you are a danger to society.
Presiding Justice John Jones sentenced Weaver at Newport magistrates court on October 6 to a 16-week prison term, suspended for 18 months so he could attend a ‘building better relationships’ course.
Hours later he attacked his girlfriend again.
This is a guy who has a history of violence against women, who in the UK are disarmed for the criminals' protection.
And yet the Democrats will go on about how they want us to be more like those "civilized" Brits. None of this sounds too civilized to me.
