Most recently, Biden’s press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, appeared on Ari Melber’s program on MSNBC, where one of the topics under discussion were some of those Supreme Court decisions as well as the political tilt of our nation’s highest court. During the interview, we learned that according to the Biden White House, there is a “constitutional right” to affirmative action:
What the court threw out was race-based discrimination. It is odd to hear anyone lament the passing of racist policies, but the 21st Century is stupid.

But, in defense of Karine Jean-Pierre, we don’t declare war or budget along Constitutionally coherent lines either. So possibly she makes a good point in passing: we need to either get this ship back on course, or just scuttle the whole mess.
