The Other McCain is up first with Five — Count ’Em, FIVE — Flaming Skulls for FBI Whistleblower Report on Biden

Am I a conspiracy theorist for suggesting this? It doesn’t matter. The loss of credibility of the Deep State regime — which is their fault, not mine — predictably gives rise to paranoia, as the citizens witness the blatant double standards: Antifa rioters walk free without prosecution, while hundreds of pro-Trump protesters are sentenced to federal prison.

Animal Magnetism - Rule Five Urban Meltdown News

A San Francisco store owner and immigrant from Afghanistan – Afghanistan – is aghast at what is happening in his adopted home. [SNIP]

Wombat-socho - Rule 5 Sunday: Frank Kelly Freas

One of the great science fiction artists of the late 20th century was Frank Kelly Freas, who usually went by Kelly. and whose artistic talent was matched by being just a really neat and friendly guy. I was blessed by being able to hang around with him at various DC-area SF conventions in the late 1970s and early 1980s; he was always willing to talk about his work, other artists and their work, and to sing the old songs.

Clusterfuck Nation - We’re Not Finished

The business model is broken. We’re a shadow of the industrial economy that won a great war and enjoyed a boisterous peace. You can’t replace ball bearing factories with theme parks and hedge funds. Sorry. The full faith and credit of the USA is not embodied in those frivolities, so our money is losing its mojo fast.

Watts Up With That - SCMP Admits a Regional Asian Carbon Tax Could Lead to Human Rights Abuses

I’m horrified. Are carbon taxes going to be a path to normalising human rights abuses and forced evictions? Is it going to become OK for governments and corporations to mistreat vulnerable people, providing that abuse leads to more carbon offsets?
