You can never be quite sure in Blue States. Deadly Cemetery Shooting Was Self Defense, Police Say
Actually the statement was issued by the District Attorney's office, but you have to make allowances for Professional Journalism.
Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele has decided not to bring charges against the individual that took part in a deadly shooting that happened in March at the grave of a man who was killed by gun violence ten years prior.
There was a birthday party in honor of a guy killed in 2013. It was held graveside.
The defender was sitting in a car talking to a friend, when the soon to be dead-guy walked up and opened fire.
The defender was seriously injured, having been shot multiple times before he could return fire.
It was so cut-dried, as a case of self-defense, that it only took a District Attorney in Deep Blue Philadelphia a month to decide that self-defense is legal. Or to decide that he couldn't possibly win this case. (You don't think he actually cares about Justice, do you?)
Self-defense is a human-right.
