Chris Rock - Father of the Year

The Tough Love that so many don't get. They never learn that actions have consequences. Chris Rock Got Daughter Kicked Out of School for Sneaking Out, Drinking

I don't have Netflix, but I am going to have to find a way to watch this special.

While everyone is talking about the clips of Rock "slapping back" at Will Smith, I thought this part sounded interesting.

Chris Rock's daughter, Lola, attended a swanky private school.

The comic explained that his daughter, Lola, went to a very expensive private school, joking that he finds it strange that "my kids ski, ride horses, they fence" because he "identifies as poor."

On a trip to Portugal a bunch of the students snuck out to go drinking, and got caught.

However, Rock said that his daughter wasn't taking the situation seriously, saying that he came home to find her "just laughing with like three of her little white girlfriends."

He added: "Lola is like, 'Daddy stop it, you're so serious! I'll be back in school in no time.'"

Unfortunately for Lola, this comment was enough for Rock to decide that she needed to learn a lesson about her behavior, and went to the school and spoke to Lola's dean.

He got the school to kick her out during her senior year.

Rock recalled telling the dean: "I need you to kick my daughter out of this school. I need you to kick her Black ass out of this school. I need my Black child to learn her lesson right now before she is up on OnlyFans and some shit. Please kick my child out of fucking school."

That is some grade-A, tough-love. But it is a lesson that too many people have not learned. "The choices we make, dictate the life we lead." (Danny DeVito said that in Renaissance Man.) In other words, actions have consequences.

She, and all the other students were kicked out. She did graduate and make it to college.

  1. I disagree with him on a few things, but I'm sure developing a healthy respect for him.
