Officers arrested Cobb and found a loaded Ruger handgun in the cup holder, prosecutors said.
Cobb was also allegedly found with crack cocaine, heroin and over $2,000 cash in his pockets.
Cobb is a convicted felon, does not possess a concealed carry license and has a revoked driver’s license.
Court records show the man has several active criminal cases in Lake County, including DUI.
So why is it that he was running free to commit crimes and threaten people? Because keeping violent offenders in jail is unfair.
