I guess they figure if they blow enough smoke we will all forget about their interference in politics. FBI responds after revelations it flagged tweets for censorship
The latest batch of Twitter files, released by journalist Matt Taibbi, showed that between January 2020 and November 2022, former Twitter Senior Director of Trust & Safety, Yoel Roth, exchanged over 150 emails with the FBI.
Taibbi’s revelations showed that the FBI’s social media task force, known as FTIF, has 80 agents working to stop what they say is “foreign influence and election tampering of all kinds.”
As several people have pointed out there were several mass-shootings that took place during the time the FBI had 80 agents tied up policing jokes, and even though they had been warned before the shootings about some of those people, they "didn't have manpower available" to do anything. Besides policing jokes was more important than dead school kids.
