Clearly What NYC Needs is Common Sense Baseball Bat Control

Because in blue cities we blame the weapon, not the person wielding it, or something. Shocking moment man pulls baseball bat from his sweatpants and viciously beats man in NYC | Daily Mail Online

  • Surveillance footage captured the moment a man with a baseball bat attacked a pedestrian walking in Hamilton Heights on Tuesday
  • The attacker was spotted walking shortly behind the victim and waiting seconds before grabbing the bat out of his pants
  • Without hesitation, the assailant struck the man, who then fell to the ground in pain

The article also includes reference to a woman who "threw an unknown toxic substance at [a victim] during an unprovoked attack on the subway." That victim has burns on the side of her face.

That isn't all of course.

At least twelve people have been shoved in front of a subway train so far this year, at least two fatally.

Do we need to seriously limit who in NYC can have access to the subway?
