Would you intervene? Texas man shoots, kills man who assaulted his mother
The mother's ex-boyfriend showed up and started a "domestic incident."
Wiltz reportedly arrived at his ex-girlfriend's home and began assaulting her, during which she left her home and got in her car to flee.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office said Wiltz attempted to drag the woman out of her car, which is when Small opened fire against the man, hitting him at least once.
Cops found him in the back yard of a nearby house. He died at a local hospital.
The cops and the DA consider it to be justified, but it will be presented to a grand jury. I'm no lawyer, but it is my understanding that all homicides are presented to a grand jury in Texas.
The "How dare you live without me" attitude never really works out in the long run. And this didn't happen in New Jersey. Self-defense, and defense of family, is a human-right.
