“Rules Only Apply to Little People” — LAPD Edition

From Hot Air, we have a story of LAPD covering for an (alleged) sexual predator. LAPD worked with CBS to hide Moonves sex scandal: Media gatekeepers ARE the deplorables

Besides the amount of cash the two offending parties will pony up, additional juicy nuggets about the Los Angeles Police Department’s role in covering up the Moonves sex scandal were brought to light. Shockingly, not only did they help CBS bury the thing for as long as they possibly could, LAPD tipped them off to begin with!

Les Moonves was head of CBS. The allegations are that he was a predator of the sexual kind.

Vice doesn't mince words. Cops Allegedly Helped Cover Up Sexual Assault Allegations Against Les Moonves.

In November 2017, as the #MeToo movement was sweeping across the country and media companies were ousting problematic executives, CBS and Moonves learned that he was likely in trouble, according to the report. On Nov. 17, the very same day that a woman walked into a LAPD station and reported that Moonves had sexually assaulted her in the 1980s, an LAPD captain called an executive at CBS, the report alleges.

They didn't just tip off the good folks at CBS, they intimidated the accuser.

The LAPD captain also allegedly had another police officer call up the accuser and “admonish” her against speaking to the press as CBS tried to protect Moonves and the company’s bottom line.

So who exactly is the LAPD captain (now retired) serving? Not the accuser. Not the public. CBS. Or as the first link at the top, from Hot Air, says:

How chivalrous! The protect and serve fellas are dragging women in to strongarm them for the bad guys! All you need is zoot suits and John Huston directing this movie.

Hey, doll. If youse knows what’s good for ya, yull keeps ya pretty trap shut, capiche?

And remember that people knew about this, just like they knew about Epstein. (How many of his "clients" have been charged with anything?) Remember that the next time someone in the "entertainment industry" tries to lecture you for not being Woke enough.
