HeyJackass! brings us the September Wrap-up.
With September 2021 posting the second highest homicide tally for Septembers being only bested by 109 in 1992, anything short of another complete shitshow would show a “downward trend” and therefore crime is down.
Shootings and murders were both down relative to 2020 and 2021. Both were NOT down if you compare to 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, etc. That won't stop the powers-that-be from claiming success.
