Acoustic or unplugged versions of Rock and Heavy Metal songs have been a thing for a while now. Not just power ballads, but low-key versions of Rockin' tunes. The Pretty Reckless is one of my favorite bands. Combine them with the acoustic-version idea, and they have a bunch of winners.
It helps that Taylor Momsen can actually sing without putting everything through Auto-Tune.
This is "Only Love Can Save Me Now [Unplugged]" by The Pretty Reckless. The full rock version is from the album Death by Rock and Roll, which was released on February 12th. This version was released (on YT anyway) in September of last year.
