Scammers gonna scam. And age is no barrier to scamming...
A woman gave her phone to some "lost kids" in NYC's Central Park so they could call home. Instead they "stole" $1,000 via her Venmo account.
The cops were not sympathetic, though they did - eventually - take a police report. (My guess: This is the end of the cops involvement.)
