The suburbs are still trying to enforce the Rule of Law. Man who abducted, sexually assaulted woman in DuPage County gets 101 years.
A Kentucky man who was convicted of abducting, sexually assaulting and robbing a college student in suburban Chicago will spend the rest of his life behind bars after a judge sentenced him to 101 years in prison.
State law mandates that he serve 85% of his sentence. That would be 85 years behind bars before he is eligible for parole. Since he is 37, that is a death sentence.
The non-prosecutors of Cook County and Chicago would no doubt have taken a plea that would have had him back on the streets at some point. But not DuPage County.
Civilization is built on the rule of law. The Left seems bent on destroying both the Rule of Law, and Western Civilization.
