Mayor Lori Lightfoot, of Chicago, is hoping to deflect attention from what is going on in Chicago, because it isn't good. Hundreds Dead in Chicago; Guess Why Mayor Frogface Issued a ‘Call to Arms’?
The year-to-date homicide total in Chicago has already topped 200, but the city’s Amphibian-American mayor isn’t worried about that. In an average week, 11 people are murdered in Chicago. You might think reducing this deadly violence would be a top priority for Mayor Lori Lightfoot, a task that would absorb all of her attention. Nevertheless, she manages to find time to spend on Twitter, warning her “community” about the real danger — the United States Supreme Court.
The only statistics on Chicago Crime you can trust come from HeyJackass! As of May 11th the numbers stood as:
Shot & Killed: 192
Shot & Wounded: 819
Total Shot: 1011
Total Homicides: 213
Chicago PD has been known to cook the books, and they just ignore murders that that place on the expressways, because those are under the jurisdiction of the Illinois State Police. HeyJackass! is the best source.
2022 in Chicago may be a sh*tshow of the highest order, but it isn't as bad as last year. (Though summer is just getting underway.) There were 13 more homicides in 2021 by May 11th than the city has seen in 2022.
And for the record, I do NOT think Lori Lightfoot looks like Beatlejuice.
