Gates of Vienna - Mostly Peaceful Muslims Riot in Norrköping

As I reported yesterday, Rasmus Paludan’s planned burning of a Koran in the Swedish city of Linköping inspired an anticipatory riot by the culture-enrichers of that city. The ferocity of the rioters induced the police to withdraw from the location of the event, and the notorious Koran-burner was unable to make an appearance.

Granite Grok - Elon Has Become Enemy Number 1

He was a hero when he rerouted his private communication satellites to afford Ukraine’s uninterrupted ability to avoid Russia cutting them off from the world. He was adored when his tunnel theory to take road travel underground showed it could work. They said thank you when he paid more taxes than any other American. But he forgot to stay in his lane. He crossed the line.

Musk is from South Africa, where their Constitution models ours. His sin was making noise about his love of the first amendment. He is not only for free speech but absolute free speech.

Mike Rowe - Those Billboards Work! Work Ethic Scholarhips are open.

For those of you seeing this for the first time, our work ethic scholarships are awarded to individuals in search of skilled training, not a four-year degree. Like the billboard says, we’re giving away a million dollars to those who qualify. The application process isn’t complicated, but there are some hoops to jump through, so if you interested, I’d suggest you start the process NOW, at mikeroweWORKS.org/scholarship.

Blazing Cat Fur - The Russian Army can’t afford to lose more soldiers

The losses that the Russian Army has suffered have been extreme, not just by the standards of post-Cold War warfare, but by all 19th and 20th century standards. Indeed the Russian war experience so far is perhaps more reminiscent of the mud and gore of the Battle of the Somme

Paveł of Ewok Report with a post at Chant du Départ - Guest Post - Ukraine: The Fighting Slows, then Accelerates

Hello from the forests of Eastern Endor - well, Europe ...
This is Paweł from Ewok Report, and another instalment of Chronicles of the Russo-Ukrainian War of 2022.
I was just about to short write the episode: nothing new, both forces still preparing for the major Donbas battle ...
Then suddenly 2 big news occurred almost at once:

The Other McCain - R.I.P., Another Russian General

The official count so far is seven Russian generals killed during the war, while 33 colonels or lieutenant-colonels have been killed.

Flopping Aces - Oberlin and its woke Onazis. On the bakery kerfuffle, and other things.

Oberlin was described as an “insane asylum” in 2016 even before all this transpired. Oberlin graduate Michelle Malkin said, “they had it coming.”

Gateway Pundit - Democrat NYC Mayor Admits Progressive Politics Play a Role in Increased Crime (VIDEO)

“Major mistakes made throughout the years that destroyed the trust that the police commissioner is talking about — we have to rebuild that trust,” [NYC Mayor] Adams said. “But we can’t rebuild that trust by allowing those who are dangerous and that have — they have a repeated history of violence to continue to be on our streets.”

NewsBusters - Networks SKIP Sentencing of Gay Democrat Mega-Donor in Meth Overdose Deaths

On Thursday night, Fox News anchor Bret Baier filed a short item on wealthy gay California Democrat mega-donor Ed Buck being sentenced to 30 years in prison for the methamphetamine overdose deaths of two black men. ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS broadcasts haven't touched it. Buck had donated $500,000 to mostly Democratic causes since 2000.
