Justice? The Cook County (Chicago) State's Attorney is not interested in Justice. Kim Foxx Poisons the Well for Two Chicago Police Officers | Chicago Contrarian
Kim Foxx never does anything on accident. If the Cook County state’s attorney isn’t making life unbearable for law-abiding residents, finagling special deals for B-list celebrities or arbitrarily changing the law to suit her whim, Foxx is otherwise placing her thumb on the scales of justice.
In the latest incident which reveals how her legal compass is deeply misguided, the ever-scheming Foxx attempted to irreparably harm any legitimate defense of the actions of two Chicago police officers who became embroiled in fatal shootings in 2021.
The two shootings were of Anthony Alvarez and Adam Toledo. Both were armed, though Toledo threw his gun away less than one second before he was shot. I'm not sure if these cases received national attention, though I would not be surprised if they did.
Not content to just say, "We are not going to bring charges against either officer," she goes out of her way to make their lives miserable.
Kim Foxx’s commentary following her office declining to prosecute either Officer Stillman or Officer Solano was, at the very least, superfluous. At most, it was an attempt to externally influence disciplinary proceedings both Stillman and Solano have yet to endure.
Disgusting behavior from the Criminal Justice System.
There is a recap of the two shootings at the article linked above, together with the actions of the media, and politicians, following the shootings. Click thru for the details.
