Bail reform claims another life. Bronzeville shooting: 2 teens charged after Chicago Military Academy freshman Michael Brown fatally shot.
Michael Brown, 15, was in the 3300-block of South Prairie Avenue around 3:15 p.m. when he was approached by someone who then pulled out a gun and opened fire, according to police.
The shooter and the other guy were in a car stolen in an armed carjacking when arrested.
But keeping violent offenders in jail is unfair. It is certainly unfair to Michael Brown and his family.
The breakdown of law and order continues.
