He apparently thought it would be a good idea to invade an occupied dwelling. Police: Armed intruder shot by homeowner in exchange of gunfire. This took place in Rainier, Oregon.
When [police] arrived, they learned a burglar had attempted to rob the homeowner and they exchanged gunfire. The suspect was shot but is expected to survive. The homeowner was not hurt.
Cops took the would be bad-guy to a local hospital.
The investigation continues, but self-defense is a human-right. Good Guys 1, Bad Guys 0.
